Tickets say 7.30 start. Movie started at 7.20. We saw the start. But others who came it at 7.30 didn't. Movie was restarted. Had to watch 10 mins over again. Get it but bloody incompetent
Any previous reviews would have been 4 or more stars, but until now I haven’t been in the last row of Cinema 3! Yesterday I sat at the end of the last row. The constant noise from what sounded,Ike a worn fan bearing completely spoilt my enjoyment of the movie. Difficult to believe that management is unaware of the noise. The air conditioning was also far too cool in that part of the cinema.
Great little boutique cinema. Quaint decor with intimate cinemas and comfortable seating. Sure to the limited seating you may need to get tickets earlier if it is a new release. Staff are friend and helpful. Good selection of food and drink.
Friendly speedy service as movie had just started and hostess even offered to torch us into cinema to be seated incase it was dark.. we made it in and enjoyed the movie Kangaroo.
Lovely little cinema. No fresh popcorn but we bought some bagged popcorn and snacks/drinks which did just fine. Much better experience than a large "commercial" style cinema. Highly recommend if you like a smaller screen and less crowds (seats are comfy too).
Can't recommend this cinema enough! Went to watch a film and noticed there was no hot popcorn which was amazing because it didn't stink out the cinema. There was also a variety of other snacks I could enjoy! The customer service at Academy Gold is outstanding and I will definitely be coming back.
We came to watch the Barbie Movie and we were utterly shocked when we were told there was no popcorn. Unbelievably disappointing. They only had a small selection of snacks which did have the sugary bagged supermarket popcorn but that just isn't good enough. A movie theater with no popcorn is like Batman without Robin. Cannot recommend
Awesome wee cinema, usually great parking and always able to see an alternative, interesting range of movies. Smaller cosy cinema, feels like an absolute treat every time I go. Highly recommend
Had an amazing night with my partner here, good selection of craft beers/ciders, great movies on show, and exceptional service from staff. (Specifically the young man with curly hair, he needs a raise!!)
