I had enrolled last year and had an awesome gp. She's not there at the moment and since she's been gone, it's been hell trying to sort anything out. I found I'm having to see different gps at my practice who aren't my gp, and with that comes them not wanting to help me because I'm not their client or don't want to walk on my actual gps toes while away. That's left me in an awful predicament because I go to get things sorted for my physical or mental health and I'm at cross roads with Noone wanting to prescribe my meds or help. Blood tests showed low iron, and it's been weeks and Noone has contacted me to get me on iron pills. Instead I'm dealing with health issues causing it with no help from anyone. Just had the run around with paying an emergency script for medication that I can't just stop without negative withdrawal affects. I had to pay for an emergency 3 day supply from chemist, o top of paying for an emergency script. Called up to be told they'd only give me a weeks worth so I'm switching medical practices. It seems they don't care about the risks associated with medication withdrawals or anything to do with my wellbeing honestly. I used to love it here and now I dread having to go. Won't be going back.
Tried calling 10+ times every time i was put on hold then hung up on. Feel like a number not a human the way im treated by a certain doctor. I have had good experience in the past as iv been here most my life but recently feels like they want me out asap
Rushed through. Only 15 minutes for appointments now. And only one medical issue per appointment as other reviews have stated. Didn't feel cared for, no empathy. Felt like they wanted me out asap and get the next person in = Money grab. Also none of my issues were addressed properly, though perhaps that's the nz Healthcare system in general. Usual story from this place: nothing wrong with you, please leave, give money. Won't be going back. This is why I don't go to the doctor often. Complete waste of money. Are all doctors like this these days?
Lovely team Dr Seers & medical receptionists are super kind. Fantastic morning drop in clinic and plenty of parking available.
I'm slowly pulling my family out of this medicalcentre one by one due to ignorance, rudeness and complete ineptitude!! Both senior male doctors leave a lot to be desired and its no surprise when a new good doctor comes along they don't stay. From misdiagnosis to poor follow up they win hands down. There's a reason the bad reviews outweigh the good?!
Have taken our 15 month old daughter in three times in the last few months for suspected chest infection and ear infection. Was told "no she is fine", and that "babies get sick", "nothing they can do about it". And then after she got worse and worse this past weekend one trip to after hours and she was diagnosed with ear and chest infection and prescribed antibiotics and is coming better finally. Shocking. Our family will never go back here.
Our family has been attending this clinic over 30 years. We called this morning and got the rudest lady (Elizabeth) and this is not the first time. She is an absolute liability to this once fantastic little clinic. I myself cringe when I have to deal with this person. We have decided this is the last straw for us and we are looking another clinic. No one is happy at this place anymore particularly the reception staff (all but the lovely lady with the accent) sad & unfortunate.
My family has been with this centre for over 5 years but we will not be going back after our last few visits. Paperwork errors, rude staff, taking money for waste of time appointments. Seems they cannot wait to get you out the door. Although I will say Isobel Light is a great doctor. I wish we had only dealt with her.
