   Mixed feelings about my Bunnings experience. I’ve had a few pretty bad experiences, but also one exceptionally good one. Let’s start with the good. A huge thank you to Lee from Electrical at Bunnings Shirley — she truly went above and beyond what anyone could expect from retail service. She was professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. If I ever return to Bunnings Shirley, it will be because of her and only her. Now, the not-so-good part. The negative experiences came from several staff members I interacted with during my 40-minute visit. I found the store layout confusing and somewhat messy, and when I tried to get assistance, most staff seemed uninterested in helping a clearly lost customer. When I finally did get someone’s attention, their responses were vague, disengaged, and not particularly friendly. What surprised me the most was the lack of basic product knowledge among the team. So overall, I’m left with very mixed feelings. If it hadn’t been for that amazing encounter with Lee, I would have left the store without making a purchase — and with a very sour impression.

   Went in to purchase fence extensions x7 but was difficult to get service. First person I spoke to was off to have lunch. I couldn't find anyone. We asked in the garden section but they couldn't help. I phoned them and waited quite a while for someone to answer and then they sent someone out, but he didn't know anything about the product we were hoping to purchase as kits required to to do the job only had half the materials needed. He said he would give me a call in a few days. I won't be spending 800 dollars on a product from someone who doesn't know what they are selling.

   Last cist there the door greeter was busy on her phone, asked for directions just for her to act like it was an effort.to help me. Then I had a special order to pick up the lady that had orange and pink hair had no idea on how to find my order. It was frustrating knowing the order was in the store but because of incompetence she could not recognize that I had a click to collect order not a special order so I had to go to the service desk to pick my order up. I had to co.e back the next morning when there were competent staff on to pick up my order.

   Premium store for servicing and a snag and also a sausage in bread. BBQ out front is a nice touch too! Very hot though! Love love love Shirlo Bunnos. Fave store. Gr9 experience every time. All day, every day. And late night Thursdees. And Friday - but not quite as late because early night so you can have a fresh Saturday of projects because Sundee is for the BOYS! Keep it up champs!

   Five-star shop floor service re a shower door part - assistant knew all the relevant info off the top of his head and was concise and pleasant to boot. After an ordering mixup (these things happen) I had more five-star service from Miley at the special orders desk yesterday. She was gracious, apologetic, and actioned a remedy to get things back on track straight away. Well done team.

   Normally when shopping here there is fantastic and helpful customer service. Today however we were approached by a middle aged male worker with longish hair who was agitated over us taking a display box (it was full of the gate fittings we were purchasing) he was very confrontational and left a terrible impression for what is usually a fantastic establishment.

   I was just going in to buy bags of pellets for my fire so it was really just a quick visit. I have heard that it is dog friendly as my friend puts her Jack Russell into a trolley and takes her around. It is the place to go to for getting the bits and bobs for doing the house and garden up. I haven't personally taken the time to go around the store and see everything they stock but would say it would be good exercise to do that.
