The food was both pleasing to the eyes and nourishing to the body. Really appreciate the healthier options with a good mix of protein, fibre and vitamins. The savoury sourdough was a stand-out :) Place was crowded when we went but service was still impeccable. Loved the outdoor dining as well.

Good variety of tasty food, with burgers delivered via pneumatic tube and filtered water offered from an old sewing machine. Toilets are behind the bookcase! This is a fun place to bring the kids and not too expensive, with good entertainment to keep them occupied. PS It's an old post office, hence the tubes.

Here is frequented by many locals, and offers a variety of seating options. Some dishes are delivered to your table using pneumatic tubes, a very interesting experience. Thanks to the handsome roaster who showed us how to open the container. We took our food out for a picnic along the Avon River.

Interesting food serving concept where burger and fries and send through tubes to the seats their patrons. The interior design of the eatery was also rather unique, colonial and artistic. The coffee also packed a punch. Would recommend coming here at least once to try it out.

Lots of seats available at brunch on Friday. Coffee was great. Chill atmosphere. Fries delivered old school via delivery tube. Moroccan chicken pie was tasty n good portion. Expresso martini was excellent. Servers were friendly and helpful

Very cool atmosphere! Especially the bookcase door to the bathrooms! Loved the pneumatic tubes look, but in order to fit the sandwiches and fries, portions are a bit small. I expected the fries to be sent separately knowing how tiny the tubes are. There was no warning when the tube was sent either so we missed seeing it in the actual tube system. The tubes are also very hard to open and with no instructions on how to open. Another customer asked me later on how I got mine open cause she was also struggling. My friends ordered the Chemex coffee, and it was a make it yourself thing (didnβt mention on the menu). They had never made this kind of coffee and in general didnβt want to have to make their own coffee in the morning (kind of why you go out to eat in general instead of making breakfast yourself). Same with my friends salmon avocado toast. They just sent out the ingredients and you had to assemble them yourself. We were almost done with our food by the time she had finished putting her breakfast together. But the waffles! So sooooo good. Best of the food items we ordered by far.

Love how quirky this place is. Loved the pneumatic tube delivery. The iced choc is amazing. Love the bookshelf door to the decorated toilet aisle and the harry potter audiobook while on the toilet. Great outing. Loved it

I gotta admit that I was apprehensive going to C1 after reading reviews of the service, but the lady who took my order was nothing but patient as she made recommendations when I asked for it. As written in many reviews, the food is sent to your nearest point of retrieval via the pneumatic tubes which runs through C1. In terms of the coffee, it was pleasant but wasnβt the best that Iβd had. Strangely, it was more aromatic when it cooled down. The burger was satisfying, but again, nothing to write home about. But overall, the atmosphere was lovely

Always cosy and livelyβ¦and open! In a city where most places open late and close early, Iβm grateful for this place which is open for a post-flight coffee. I came in for breakfast, grabbed a seat in the comfy leather benches and had a delicious and filling omelette with seeded bread. My loose leaf tea was beautiful and came in a cute matchbox containing 2 servings - one for now, one to take home. The table next door had a cute little kid, and I learned that their kids meals come through the pipes in the ceiling. So fun!
