   A great place to go for a drink and a meal. We had a great luch here, the roast lamb and pork are so good, the best pub roast we have had. This is a great Irish pub in the heart of Christchurch and a great place to go during the day or evening.

   Great staff. Very reasonable food options. We went for lunch a couple of times for under $20 dollars. Aircon was lovely but smokers can sit outside and that seemed to be very popular.

   I’m at this place almost every day, easily spending over $2,000 a week, and I tip Tom and the rest of the bar staff like they’re family. The service, food, and atmosphere are always fantastic — honestly one of my favourite spots. Last night, however, while having a business meeting with a client, we dealt with something completely unexpected. After an incident involving another patron, we approached the head bouncer — a small man with glasses — to calmly explain what had happened. Instead of listening, he reacted with extreme hostility. His behaviour was shockingly aggressive and completely unprofessional. He acted erratic, defensive, and almost unhinged, as though us politely speaking to him was some kind of personal attack. For someone responsible for public safety and dealing with customers, his attitude was bizarre and unacceptable. We genuinely love this venue, and the regular staff are outstanding, but whoever was on the door last Saturday night is a serious liability. If the owners were aware of how he behaves, I doubt he’d last a single shift. This kind of conduct puts the business at risk and creates an unsafe environment for loyal customers. If this man is removed, I will take this review down and continue my friendly relationship with the little fiddle and there great staff.

   I highly recommend this place. We had a great time here, staff were friendly and accommodating. Food was really yum specially the roasted veggies, couldn’t agree more. The portions were worth your penny. They even have a live cast of the rugby game and we enjoyed watching it with friends. We’ll definitely come back ✨

   Good pub tucked away off Oxford Terrace close to Riverside Market. We were approached and seated immediately by the wait staff. The Guinness was excellent and the food choices better than pub average. Quite a noisy place, not that it was really a problem and when we asked for the heater frying our heads to be turned off,bit was. Nice pub.

   It’s a great place to go for the $17 lunch special. We all had the chicken burger and fries and enjoyed it a lot. Great value for money. Cosy atmosphere and very friendly service.

   Had dinner here. Food was delicious. The service team was great. Polite and attentive. A must try. The restaurant is in an alley but there's a signboard directing you to a short alley way. So don't miss it.

   So lucky we found this place early as it got very busy on a Friday for lunch. Had the best ever pork, vegies and potatoes in duck fat. A big serving but i managed to eat most of it cause it was just so tasty. Best pork loin and crackling ever. Service was outstanding
