   No one greeted me when I walked in or asked if I needed help or a size so I walked around the store holding a shoe until I finished looking and had to go up and ask them for a size. There was no real interaction or chat. The guy that got me the size came out and just took them out of the box and said nothing, then put the shoes on the ground in front of me. I felt so awkward. Once I took the shoes off and put them back in the box. Still no words from the 2 workers. The guy was just chatting to his friend that was standing on the side of the desk. And Even though I actually liked the shoes and wanted them. I just walked out and said nothing, (neither did they), il go to another shop and buy them. That’s a joke and so disappointing that’s how you must treat the tourists that come to our country. Do you understand you work in a customer service job??

   WORST SHOP EVER I bought a pair of shoes that I later decided to return, but the card machine in the store wasn’t working properly. I waited in the store for a long time… and eventually, they managed to process the refund – or so I thought. I was shocked to find out later that they had actually charged me again instead. I’ve been fighting with customer service for over a month and a half to get my money back. It’s honestly disgraceful. I’ve never experienced anything like this in any other store.

   I bought a pair of shoes this afternoon but I won’t go back to this store again until they train him properly. I politely (although it seems he doesn’t like his job or me) asked for a new pair of shoes from those on display, but the sales clerk told me that it was the last pair of shoes, even though I knew very well that was not true after I checked on the website. I had intended to buy three shoes to replace my old ones, but he must think this business didn't need my money. Lastly, I don’t have anything against you mate, I just want to buy shoes.

   I brought my first pair of Doc Martins and was told to go down half a size as they stretch. They were extremely uncomfortable when I tried them on and was assured they would be fine. They are not, they are awful and have caused a permanent lump on my foot. Took them to get stretched and still too tight. I trusted the salespeople with an expensive purchase and I regret listening to them.

   I accidentally ordered the wrong size shoes online and Amber and the team were so helpful and lovely sorting out getting the correct size sent to them to exchange. Absolutely 10/10 service! Thanks again!

   Hi. Just want to tell you what an outstanding manager is at Christchruch city High street. I had a issue with my previously shoes and without even question we tracked down my order and he allowed me to exchange them. This is beyond what I expected and he should be commended on outstanding customer service. Give the man a trip to Fiji. Manager Michael is what ever retail outlet needs.

   I needed to get some new shoes for work and had just the best shoe shopping experience when I went into the Cashel street store last Thursday. Store manager Jeff was the best ! Really efficient, helpful, chatty, attentive and incredibly knowledgeable, and not at all pushy. I tried on a number of different styles of shoes and sizes, and nothing seemed to be a problem to him. His manner was friendly, upbeat and down-to-earth. He gave me his time and undivided attention and seemed happy to ask all of my questions (I'm not a frequent shopper and often find decision-making hard!), he didn't mind my annoying questions and indecision. Based on all the above, I ended up buying not one but two pairs of shoes/boots! Jeff had recommended the Dr Marten Wonder balsam product to me but they were out of stock. Never fear ! Jeff and his colleague located the product at a different Platypus store (in Queenstown) and arranged for it to be delivered to my house and free of charge! Unbelievably it was in my mailbox the next day ! This was the cherry on top of the icing on the cake! Such great customer care and service. Definitely heading back. I highly recommend this store to anyone after good shoes and great service. Thanks again Jeff & co.
