   I bought Jude the Obscure rose online in July 2024. When it flowered it wasn't as labelled. Wairere said it was mislabelled and was Lady of Shallot. They offered me a refund if I dug it up out of the garden (after hip replacement) and it could be shipped back to them, 409 kms away, at their cost! I replied this would be physically awkward for me to manage. No return reply from them. I now have a rose that I don't want sadly. For sentimental reasons I only wanted Jude the Obscure which wasn't available locally. $68.00 wasted!

   Totally wheelchair inaccessible. Was stuck in the deep gravel near shop.... hubby told the shop staff but she was unsympathetic. Told her the rose we wanted and I ask her to get it for us. Again unhelpful. Told us to go to bay 8 or 9. Eventually managed to get my multi terrain electric wheelchair out of the loose deep gravel onto a more compacted part of the track. Came back to shop.... no ramp. Just steps. Another customer chatted and told us to go ahead of her, but the shops operator with lack of friendliness told us to wait our turn. Hubby had to go into shop to pay.... no offer to bring eftpos machine out to us. (Steps !) Than as we went to leave, she pulled the other customer's trolley in front of us, blocking us .... At no stage was there any offer to call another staff member to help. Got the roses we wanted but will NOT RETURN. I recommend anyone in a mobility assisted situation not to come here

   Ordered a decent sized Olive tree for delivery to Christchurch. It arrived within the expected time, in perfect condition, and is a beautiful specimen. First time ordering plants on line so was a bit nervous but couldnt find what we wanted locally. I wouldn't hesitate next time. Amazing service - thanks Wairere

   A top notch nursery, with plants well laid out for sale in wide open spaces. Their roses I’ve purchased have thrived. Their established garden area is well worth a stroll through including the 30+ year old climbing roses. Fantastic

   I have been shopping here on and off for 8 years. It’s a lovely nursery to walk around, the staff are exceptional in service and knowledge. I’ve bought fruit trees, trees, grasses, natives, flowers and all. They are the top end of pricing but the plants are always healthy, strong and in great condition so I don’t mind. I know I can come here and the get the advice I need. Lovely staff, lovely nursery, worth the drive out of town.

   Online order for 12 trees at $600. 8 of the 12 trees arrived damaged, most with their trunks snapped. The boxes they were packed in were clearly too small and I believe most of the damage occurred during packing rather then transit. Offered $50 credit as compensation and then just ignored my reply afterI explained a voucher for less that 10% of my cost is quite a low offer and I was expecting a refund for closer to 50%. I wouldn't have brought the trees from the retail shop if I had seen them broken. If trees can't be packaged without damaging them then customers should be warned, I think.

   This is the best nursery ever, every plant, tree shrub you could ever want or imagine. Particularly at this time of the year everything is in flower absolutely beautiful. All planted out roses.St Mary's and Sally Holmes my favorites and I didn't go to buy haha!
