   What a breathtaking building to be in! Dinner with friends, magic atmosphere. We had a range of meals from market fish, steak frites, beef cheek ragout pappardelle and beetroot and gin salmon. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the meals. Beef cheek was my person favourite. If you enjoy your beers I recommend the Robins IPA dedicated to the owners late father. Sorry forgot to get photos of the food, too busy enjoying it, definitely have to book beforehand.

   We did the pre-theatre menu which was fantastic. At $55 per person this is amazing value as the food was beautifully presented, incredibly tasty and good sized portions. In fact our Fried Chicken starter (with the most amazing maple glaze and chilli mayo) was incredibly generous in size! We had their new pre-theatre dinner which had a Confit Duck which was absolutely amazing - and I'm a bit of a connoisseur in terms of Confit Duck and I wasn't disappointed. My friend has the Steak Frites - and she loved the steak - perfectly cooked and very tender with the most crispy delicious frites! For $20 a person, it's a great deal to add a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne. They also have a lovely range of wines by the glass. But best of all was the service. We actually had the restaurant manager Nobu, serving us and she was amazing. It couldn't have been better. We loved everything about our experience at OGB.this was fantastic.

   This has a lovely speakeasy vibe. The craft cocktails are very good. Menu indicates citrus, sour, spicy, etc. The restaurant was fabulous. Everything we tried was delicious. Service was extraordinary.

   We came as a group of 4 and had lunch outside. It was lovely. Great service, wine and food. Really keen to go back again. The eggplant dish I had was amazing. The wonderful server was also nice enough to check the wine they were suggesting was vegan friendly, which it was. And well worth it! The building is also a real treasure. Well worth exploring.

   Believe the reviews! The fried chicken is excellent. Great food and atmosphere, the bar staff are friendly and allowed my companion and I to perch along the window to look out on Christchurch. Drinks menu caters for everyone and no side-eye when I just got water.

   I spent a week in Christchurch for work and ended up here twice because the food was quite possibly one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Get the platter, it is worth it. Those chips are something else, the perfect floof inside and crisp on the outside. I will be coming back if I find myself in Christchurch again. There is a nice atmosphere, I’m not an outside eater at all but I was comfortable enough the first night with the heaters and we ended up with a table inside the second night. The service was great, wines were flowing and food was served quickly. Yum, thanks O.G.B you are a fond memory now.
