My marching team, Broadway United, stayed at Gateway Motor Inn for three nights. We cannot fault this place. We booked seven rooms and all were immaculate. Very comfortable beds. Booking was easy. Staff were lovely. Although the motel is close to the motorway, we didn't find it noisey. Maybe windows double glazed. Good location. Would recommend Gateway Motor Inn. You won't be disappointed.

Unbelievably noisy from trains and traffic on motorway right outside your window. Freyed bath towels w holes. Would not stay there again.

Great facilities, room was super clean & hosts were very friendly. A little bit on the outskirts but only a short drive to town. Close to the train tracks - trains travelling through the evening / night & could be disruptive if you're a light sleeper. However we weren't inconvenienced by it.

Definitely would not stay again. Arrived to water all over kitchen floor. Went and notified reception a guy came up put a towel on floor and stood on towel rubbing towel over floor with foot then proceeded to pick up towel and used same towel his foot had been on on the floor to then wipe out inside of fridge that had leaked. Made me ill to see how unhygienic this was. I then asked for the fridge to be disinfected and fully cleaned. Lady came up brushed it off that men donβt think. Fridge did get cleaned but I only put sealed bottles in fridge. Cringe worthy as to hygiene standards. No air conditioning in unit. Very hot rooms. Old discoloured frayed towels were awful. Bin in bathroom was rusted and floor around toilet stained and smelt like toilet had been leaking. Would not recommend place. I had stayed two years earlier and it was lovely then. How things have changed. This time was appalling

I did not enjoy my stay at Gateway. Others have said that the location was good, however I found it very isolated without a vehicle, there are better options. It is very loud, next to a motorway and railway line. The towels were old and frayed. Two of the plugs didn't work. The host was pleasant. The rooms are a good size and the bed was comfortable enough. I stayed two nights and I wouldn't stay again.

Stayed with family for 1 night lot of disturbance from neighbor room. Abusive and knocking door and window at rear at midnight 2:30 pm , scary and sleepless night. No access to phone in emergency situation. Maybe people living on the property were homeless living on benefits. Please double check before booking. Make us feel unsafe.

Quick service at reception. Seems the room we stayed in has been recently renovated as it was quite modern. Nice and clean, was really impressed with how clean the shower was! Spa bath in room. Coming from managing a motel myself, overall great stay. Only downside would be the noise from the highway and train tracks. Thank you!

Unit was serviced every day- everything was so clean. Nothing was too much trouble when requesting extra assistance. The fan in the bedroom and pedestal fan in lounge were a godsend. The complex is central to all amenities. Great to have tvs in lounge and bedroom but would recommend a simple radio for use during the day. A clock would also be helpful Being beachy people it was great to have access to a clothes line to dry togs and towels Will definitely stay here again

This place isnβt bad. The rooms a clean and tidy. The service is super chilled. I booked for work last minute and this was one of the only reasonable and available places left and I didnβt mind it. The down side is itβs close to the main road and train tracks so if youβre a light sleeper it might be frustrating. I was given a one bedroom and it had 3 single beds in the bedroom and a double bed in the lounge area. It was a bit strange but I suppose if youβre bringing the kids or friends, it would be good. The bed isnβt 5 star but it is comfortable. I think the pillows need to be upgraded.
