   am new to Christchurch, and I wanted to host a dinner party for my friends. So, I took them to Thirsty Peacock, thinking that even if the food wasn’t great, at least we would enjoy the time together. But honestly, we loved everything—the food was amazing, the ambience was beautiful, and we truly enjoyed our dinner. I will definitely go there again and again. Highly recommended—do visit, guys!

   Had a really great experience at The Thirsty Peacock. The place has a calm, classy vibe and the ambience is beautiful—perfect for a relaxed meal. The menu has plenty of options and everything we tried was fresh, well-presented, and full of flavor. Portion sizes were satisfying and the quality definitely matches the price. Staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome without being overbearing. Overall, a lovely spot for breakfast, lunch, or a casual get-together. Would happily visit again

   First of all i rang them to ask where is the best option to park. She was so kind and explained to me free option and ez option too. The atmosphere was good. Staff was friendly with gorgeous smile. We had two starters which were dumblings and chicken. My children loved it. Mains were kids fish and chips, beef cheek and duck confit. That was amazing. Tender and juicy. Vege came with the mains also tasty. I chose this place for my mother in law and it was perfect .

   Only had a hot drink and cheese scone here after a visit to the art gallery next door. Service was slow and indifferent (a smile & a greeting goes a long way). Tea was strong & hot, cheese scone was average, looked better than it tasted.

   Lovely menu and excellent service. The staff were friendly and attentive and it seemed important to them that we were satisfied with our meals. We were a group of four and all had different meals and starters. The food was of a very high standard, delicious and served within a reasonable time. If you are looking for somewhere a bit special where you get that all important customer service then I highly recommend this restaurant. Well done!

   Location was lovely, in the Art Gallery. Food and service was absolutely outstanding! Exceptional front of house staff. Very attentive and interactive. Quality and presentation of our meals was excellent. Everything was cooked to perfection. There were six of us and we had various meals - including the pork belly, the Angus ribeye, the market fish and pasta. All were very very good! Would go again and would definitely recommend.

   Me and my wife had a fantastic meal and enjoying the cocktails Food was well presented and tasted fresh and my steak was cooked to perfection. If I ad any thing bad to say it was the apple crumble tart was to soft on top and tart base was soft and was not hot or cold and had to much cinnamon in it for my liking,but my wife loved it Keep up the good work team.p.s or waitress as also very good.

   Had such a nice night. Lovely outdoor seating , amazing food (pork belly was delicious!) and fantastic service! Our waitress (Friday night, brown short curly hair) was amazing, so friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!
