Delicious food. The lunch special is a good deal. Food was ready so quickly. Awesome spice levels if you like hot food too.
First time dining at Thai Rendezvous for lunch. We were greeted by the friendly team and given a table quickly. Delicious authentic food and enhanced by fresh vegetables. Highly recommend to anyone looking to dine in or takeaway - excellent parking is a bonus!
Had lunch at Thai Rendezvous and it did not disappoint! I ordered their Nam Tok–based salad and it was absolutely outstanding. The grilled meat was tender and smoky, with just the right amount of spice and tang from the lime and chili. Fresh herbs and crunchy veggies balanced it beautifully — every bite was refreshing yet bold in flavor. The menu has plenty of tempting options (curries, noodles, and some great lunch specials), but if you’re after something light, vibrant, and packed with authentic Thai flavor, the Nam Tok salad is a must-try. Definitely one of the best Thai spots I’ve been to in Christchurch!
If you want something quick and easy, maybe a night off cooking. This restaurant offers it all. The food is certainly a good portion size, delicious and well presented. Staff friendly. ( B.O. Y.). Bring your own wine. Small corkage charge.
Great food and well priced, had a business lunch here and everyone enjoyed it.
Went for dinner, large portions, ok food, average price. Not many veggies. Prob better Thai places out there for the price. Cool gold door and I think it is byo, $5 corkage.
Had dinner with friends and it was okay but have had better Thai. Need more staff as hard to get a drink or service. I would go back.
Ordered two dishes for lunch, Pad Thai and Satay chicken. $12 each but small portions got like 4 pieces of meat in each and two stems of broccoli. The pad Thai was sickly sweet couldn't taste much other than sugar. Rather pay a few dollars more and get a decent serving and that tastes good. Got two small bowls worth. Won't be returning.
Thai Rendezvous offers $10 lunch deals (7 days a week!) which are certainly a must visit!! They are located near Barrington Mall so plenty of parking available. Great menu, and quick service! I must come back again soon. P.S. You can also grab an entree for around $5 during the lunch special - moneybags are my fav!
