   This was our second time coming down to Tauranga, and although the circumstances of our visit were very different this time, our stay was absolutely amazing once again. We are so incredibly grateful to have found such a beautiful and welcoming place so close to our family. Monika and Ralph are truly exceptional hosts. Their home is warm, inviting, and impeccably cared for, and Monika goes above and beyond with her generous hospitality and delicious homemade food—it really adds such a special touch to the whole experience. Thank you both for opening up your beautiful home to us. We feel so lucky to have found your accomodation and look forward to staying with you again in the future!

   This place is where you need to be for some rest and rejuvenation - whether you're a couple, or solo. My husband took me here for my birthday getaway, where I was delighted by the lovely hosts, the sweet animals (chickens, cats and horses), a cosy cabin, and beautiful farm views. The hydrotherapy spapool was a highlight, especially when used on an evening with a starry sky. We were gifted freshly baked bread, eggs, fruits, homemade jams.. everything we could've thought of was provided to us with absolute grace and care.

   Came here to be away from the busy life and just have a weekend to relax. This place did just the trick. The host Monika was very welcoming and friendly. All the plant and vegetation here make the air feel very fresh and the night sky is very dark and stars were very visible at night. This accommodation includes breakfast and the owner baked us a very tasty loaf of bread which we toasted and ate with the homemade jam. I prefer the spiced jam, but both choice was good. The vanilla greek yogurt tasted great too which was creamy. The facility includes most of what you need. Only thing Iess positive that I would comment is that at night, especially when needing to use bathroom, it is not linked. However that is adding to the countryside experience and honestly out of all the good, this was nothing. We also love the spa at night to look at the night sky. Overall, the experience was great and will definitely be back to stay and visit the animals. The fruit trees nearby also was nice and we even picked a few back home. Until next time, thanks Monika!

   An absolutely excellent stay. Monika and Rolf are brilliant hosts and their property is perfect. The personal touches like homemade bread, fresh eggs, jams, yogurt and biscuits really made it special. Watching stars while in the spa was a bonus. Location is great and the chickens are a delight.

   So nice Swiss couple of the Retreat. I and my son had been staying in their house and cottage over half year. Very helpful guys for us. I think we become friends already. Quiet environment and lovely spa pool and fire stove and BBQ grill. And lovely cats and hens.....Recommended.

   My partner and I were guests at this retreat and absolutely loved it! Not only was the layout amazing and modern, it was also like a home away from home. We had everything we needed including nice spacious bathroom, bedroom, living room and fully equiped kitchen. Our hosts were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The views were awesome especially when we woke up in the morning to coffee on the patio overlooking the landscape surrounding us. Very peaceful and very quiet, it was just what we needed. Would definately recommend it to anyone looking for peace and quiet and a place relax with everything you need at hand.
