   Hill Street Lodge was a great place to live but now it is closing to become the new base for the Hamilton Christian Men's and Women's night shelter it is ideal for the night shelter and i hope they do well in providing a warm and safe shelter for those in Hamilton who are in need of a place to live

   I have lived at 4 Hill St. Lodge since 12th Jan 2012. The current owners are the 3rd since the day I moved in. The Lodge has had its ups & downs, however, there are way more positives than negatives. The Lodge is close to bus, taxi & rail services, shopping, library, City Council, WINTEC, Girls' High, hospital, lake walks & the Lodge is in the CBD. The rent is reasonable, gas heated hot water 24/7. Everything is provided for living apart from you having your own blankets, pillows & linen. I love it here. It suits my life style, it's quiet & peaceful, paid parking if needed. The tenants are friendly. In addition I do acknowledge the Lodge may not suit everyone's needs.
