The service at reception was great, very nice gentleman, and the room was very clean. However as a woman traveling alone I felt unsafe there as the hotel is used for emergency housing I believe, which I wasn't told about. Within a few minutes of my arrival people were shouting, swearing and arguing outside, and early both mornings the same thing happened. The second morning a woman was screaming obscenities at 7am. I didnt feel safe to go outside the room in the sun with my coffee, or leave my door open, or draw attention to myself in any way. Coming back at dark from a conference I was attending I was anxious, especially as lighting was poor. I couldn't relax because of those reasons. There was no sink in the bathroom, there was only a bathroom sink in the small kitchen area ( no kitchen sink) to use to wash my hands after using the toilet and fill the jug. I didn't wash food or wash utensils due to cross contamination. The king sized bed was two separate mattresses together, one was lower than the other. The shower was great. The location is handy. I did use a steering wheel lock on my vehicle.

Budget room that was adequate for my needs. Lovely snack basket in the room when I arrived. I did have an issue with no hot water at the sink, which was fixed promptly once I told reception. A note of apology and another snack basket was left. Perfect location to get to Porritt Stadium.

Customer service and price was great. Toilet seat was very worn and damaged, needs replacing. Didn't like using the 1 sink for kitchen and bathroom. King size bed made from 2 single beds=big hard lump in the middle. No cover or sheet over the duvet inner which was concerning.

My room was really well appointed, with everything I could possibly need for a one night stay. I loved the extra little touch of the Christmas card and treats. Just one recommendation - replace the terry-cloth bathmats with non-slip bathmats, as my bathmat slipped out from under me when I was stepping out of the shower, and I had a little fall. But otherwise, everything was great and the price was such good value, so I would happily return.

Had a horrible experience. Upon room arrival discovered the bathroom window was broken and would not close or lock, leaving enough room for someone to crawl in. Heater did not work so it was probably 60⁰F in the room and since the window would not close, it was only going to get colder through the night. The place felt VERY unsafe.

The room was fine. Lovely spa, but had a few cracks and stuff so was worried it would be a problem. The room was quiet. Smoking was out by the road, but I noticed alot of people still smoked outside there room, which I didn't really see a problem with. The room had general wear and tear but was comfortable enough. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the staffs attitude, could be a lot more friendly and work on costumer service or people won't come back, in all honesty that was the only downfall..
