The shop is good. The bulkstore not bad but the Timber yard is crap. Plenty of guys standing around chatting but as soon as you drive in, they all disappear.
A lot of foot traffic among moving vehicles. Could do with a clean up

They were very rude, I am a retired builder, new more than them . Only want builders!!! with Ford Ranchers. And Carters logo on their tee shirts. If you haven't got these, DONT GO THERE.!!!!
Went there this morning to grab some timber. These men and women are great! Friendly, helpful and patient. Best kept secret in town but let's send them more custom!
We have been trading with this Carters branch for some years now and so we can say we have seen there highs and lows. A few years back this branch was possibly one of the worst we have dealt with, but that has all changed. The management have very much taken the bull by the horns and addressed a lot of the problems, particularly with customer service. The lads that work there now are switched on, very helpful and courteous and make our visits to this branch so much better than in the past. So well done guys, keep up the good work.
