    The staff member named Jonas was dismissive and unfriendly during my visit, which influenced my decision not to make a purchase. I experienced very rude customer service during my visit to this store. The staff member Jonas refused to assist me and was very unwelcoming and showed no basic courtesy or appreciation toward customers. Because of this behaviour, I decided not to proceed with my purchase and chose to shop elsewhere instead. A simple smile or polite interaction would have made a big difference, but unfortunately that was missing. Customer service plays a huge role in where people choose to spend their money, and this experience was disappointing. Based on this visit, I will not be returning to this store.

    I came into do my chrismas shopping found 1 item out of 12 and then nearly collapsed from heat exhaustion. It was so ridiculously hot in here i nearly melted. If I wanted to be on a tropical island I would have gone to one. Stop being so stingy and put the air con on. I really feel for the staff in here who have to spend all day in that heat. Must be a huge health and safety issue and I am concerned for their health and we'll being.

    Order NIKE shoes online as a gift, an this Rebel Tauranga store must have had these shoes from their store. (First time ever) Receiving shoes without a BOX!! Oh so these shoes were on display?!.. An decided to send them to me. U SHOULD SEND THEM WITH A BOX!!!!!! I PAID FOR IT!!! Not happy it's like your store there has no brains!! By reading reviews I can tell

    I entered the store early and knew precisely the shoe I wanted although the size and fitting I needed was unavailable. The guy at the front desk summoned help from the back of the store in the form of Kahi who patiently showed me how to use the instore online ordering facility to order what I was after; he was very helpful and waited until I succeeded. The shoes were delivered the very next day ! How is that possible ? No delivery charge either. Very impressive.

    Rebel Sport offers a solid collection of sportswear and shoesβ€”not overwhelming, but probably the best selection in Tauranga. The only downside is that staff can sometimes be hard to find or not particularly helpful. Still, a reliable place for sport essentials.

    Shop is an absolute shambles! Stock all over the show, staff ignore you, nothing in any type of category with boxes under (the minimal) displayed shoes. Counter guy was very friendly though can't fault him.

    Obviously understaffed. Stock is messed up, very difficult to find sizes amongst the mess, no staff available to help, absolute shambles. Shame because I have been there multiple times to spend money but due to the lack of in store capability i had to walk away.

    Went in to purchase a pair of running shoes. ZERO acknowledgment by any of the many staff milling about having casual conversations with each other. Had two staff members walk right in front of me while I was looking at shoes on the shelf with no β€œexcuse me”. Shoes lying all over the floor and this was at opening time - 9:00 am. Bitterly disappointed. Terrible, terrible customer service. Staff need a serious rev up. Will go elsewhere.

    Bought shoes on line. After a very short walk around the house and section, I figured I had selected the wrong size. They now refuse to exchange or refund as they claim "used". OMG how else do you know that shoes are the wrong size... Store unhelpful, call centre mislead, claim everyone is busy will have to call you back. In other words we need to talk to the store before you.. I'm fine with that but tell the truth not BS that they are all busy. Really gutted if that's what's called customer service.
