   If I could give 0 stars I would. This is on behalf of my mother who went in today to get only colour on her roots (short hair 1inch) was charged $166! No blow wave no cut, nothing else just a touch for the Grey's. Her hair dresser Alexa was lovely and no issues at all with her, but when mum questioned the price the manager checked it was told what was done and there was no question on the price. Its a shame she has been coming to this place for 15 years and now all of a sudden the price is out the gate she will no longer be returning and the service was appalling when she also called later on to advise she was upset on cost. She received a cold response again from the manager. Definitely wouldn't be recommended my friends and family here.

   i tried to diy my money pieces and failed tremendously- went and saw alexa at rodney wayne and she was genuinely incredible. she was beyond thorough with every detail of my hair and managed to completely transform it from a mangled, splotchy, yellow mess, into a beautiful blonde balayage. i’ve never been so happy with the results of a hair appointment. she’s truly amazing, i felt so comfortable asking questions and she was extremely competent and well-informed on the specifics of hair care. would recommend a thousand times over :)

   I came in for a change of hair colour, Alexa gave a thorough consultation making sure to understand exactly what I wanted. She made sure throughout the whole service that I was comfortable. She is friendly, easy to talk to and I left the salon overwhelmingly happy with my new colour!

   Received a trim from a lady named Sammy. When I got home I realised how uneven and botched it was (she never checked to make sure any of it was even or the lengths matched at all during the haircut). I went back in and asked for a full refund which was accepted but I will never be going back.

   Aaron and Emma are such a great team. The colour advise from Aaron is always spot on with the health of my hair a top priority. Aaron has a knack for making you feel like an old friend, his extensive haircare knowledge is happily shared, he is a true master at his profession and I am so thankful to have found this pair. Emma, you are such a pro with colour application and give amazing scalp massages, thank you so much! The complimentary beverage and chocolate treat are such a lovely touch. Rodney Wayne at the Base is a fabulous salon to visit and you’ll be guaranteed to be leaving with smile.

   Really impressed with the service I received at Rodney Wayne! I was warmly and professionally greeted by the team and was made to feel comfortable the entire appointment. I had my 6 month old baby with me and never once felt like I was inconveniencing them with his interruptions! Special mention to my stylist Raka! Truly an amazing stylist and person, Raka took my haircut vision and made it a reality! He understood how much my hair meant to me and talked me through each step. He made me feel like a queen from the time I walked in to the time I left! Thank you so much Raka for polishing my crown that I never take off! And thank you Rodney Wayne for an amazing experience!

   I loved it. The Hairdresser that did my haircut, he was amazing and incredibly kind and fun to talk to. I 100% recommend coming here for an amazing cut. I would go back and just ask them to whatever, the procedure is paradise.

   Sami was a true professional and made me feel really welcome in the salon. I love my hair too, the colour and cut is perfect and it was reasonably priced. Raka gave a warm welcome and even bought me a ham, cheese and tomato croissant. Haven’t been offered food at a salon for years. Loved this nice touch. This team at the Base will do so well as they really put the customers first and give you a whole lot of love throughout your hair styling experience. I wish this team all the best!!!
