Still My Favourite Indian Restaurant in Tauranga! I’ve been coming to Great Spice Tauranga for a while now, and they never disappoint me! Last night’s dinner was another amazing experience. We ordered veg noodles, veg manchurian, chicken tikka, butter chicken, and kadai paneer—and every dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich and authentic, the portions generous, and the presentation beautiful. The veg manchurian and chicken tikka were especially standout—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive as always, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. Great Spice continues to be my go-to spot for Indian food in Tauranga. Highly recommended!
Great Spice Otumoetai is the best Indian Restaurant I've been to. I was greeted with a smile as soon as I walked in, and guided to a table. The atmosphere is wonderful and very relaxing. The food is top notch, just how I ordered it. And the range of wines they have is vast. And of course, the server's knowledge of the dishes was very helpful as I was wanting to explore more and he was able to give me a good recommendation.

We have been going this restaurant weekly for lunch several years now and the service and food has always been excellent. The food is always consistent in taste and the presentation of the dishes very appealing. The tables have linen tablecloths and napkins which gives a sense of fine dining even at lunchtime. Prices very reasonable for the quantity
Ambience was a bit dark and dull but the food tastes great. We ordered Chicken Kadai, butter chicken with Naan which was delicious.
Finally! Found the best curry in town. These guys make amazing dishes that are very generous with the meat and have thick rich gravy that hasn't been watered down. It's so unfortunate every curry place I've gotten attached to has started thinning out the gravy and adding less and less meat. You won't be disappointed here and prices are very fair!
This restaurant is my absolute favourite. A must go for tandoori items and curries. Murgh kalimirch kebab and chicken tikka is a must try when you visit. Staff are welcoming and always serve best quality indian food with a smile. ⭐
