After two absolute fails, visiting local cafes looking for a good coffee, accidentally stumbled in here - Google Maps seemed to have overlooked this secret hideaway- finally great service, great atmosphere and importantly, yum Allpress Coffee - fab looking counter food - wanted to indulge in those Custard Squares!!
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. Very impressed. Steak was cooked to perfection. Side options are delicious. Generous portions.
People, we had a beef cheek filo & a bacon & egg slice & a delicious pesto pasta salad, on a Saturday lunch stop in this quiet, dog friendly cafe that has plenty of seating, indoor & outdoor. The cabinet food flavours were ok with the bacon/egg slice portion size fairly small especially for $9.90 The coffee flavor was nice however the 12 onz large (what a joke!) cup was a regular size at best. To add insult the top of the coffee was close to 2cm ( tide well out) below the cup top with plenty of froth! My large coffee in a glass (same $6.50 price) was better, being larger in volume than the cup! The new dinner menu at Fika Bar is simpler, featuring a selection of small plates, pizzas, burgers, and salads. Still, the food remains both affordable and high-quality. We tried several entrees, including the garlic and cheese bread, which melted in our mouths, the grilled vegetables, calamari, beef skewers, shrimp cocktail, and the standout dish—the chicken liver pāté. For the main, we opted for the mushroom pizza. I found it overly cheesy, which unfortunately masked the flavours of caramelized onion and chilli honey. A bit more balance would have elevated the dish.

We went to the Neighborhood Kitchen on 15/07/2023 and I ordered a Medium Rare Prime Angus Rib Eye.... Well, I Have been a butcher for over 33 years and tried my fair share of steak, but have not had anything as Tender and Tasty as the Steak I had here..... The service was brilliant with happy staff. We spent $114 Including tip and drinks Definitely coming back
So glad we found this gem. The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The staff were professional and attentive. Was a wonderful dining experience. I will definitely be eating here again.
Food was delicious! Favorite was the garlic bread, had me saying "Mmmmmm" after each bite! Felt very welcomed and accommodated. A warm and comforting environment would eat here again.
A beautiful cafe with all the green plants. Cozy atmosphere with lovely staff. Food was even more beautiful. The portion was a bit small but tasty. The staff was nice and working hard, but I assume they also have short staff. We have waited for a long time to have dinner. It's still worth to try and hope they have enough staffs.
