   Always good food, it’s fish and chips so don’t expect 5 star dining but never had bad food from there. Service is usually pretty good, people say the owner isn’t friendly but he’s always busy so don’t expect him to listen to your life story. If you’re going to a fish and chip place for the “look” or “atmosphere” then you probably should get into different hobbies, it’s a fish and chip shop. Over all good fast food 9/10

   Should have read the signs, an empty shop on a Friday night at 7pm. The food was just chips and they were burnt on the outside but soggy and floury in texture, for $10.50 disgusting. Service was 1 star the man behind the counter didn't look up from his phone. The atmosphere is dirty and run down. Will never come here again. I feel robbed.

   Words fail me, ordered Special Chow mein, Beef and Satay sauce, Sweet and sour pork, Combination fried rice and 6 wontons and it was all rubbish, over cooked, over salted and taste like it had no love. I will not return, save your money and have baked beans on toast.

   Service was poor and the fish & chips had no love when it was cooked. Dry and overcooked. Sorry, but need to do better.

   This fish and chips shop runs hot and cold. Sometimes it is good other times it is terrible. Bought fish and chips last night and it was awful. Chips were over cooked and had a burnt taste and the batter on the fish was disgusting and saturated with fat.

   Sadly this is my local takeaway, however I have never had a good dish from there, tonight I was tired so rather than drive to welcome bay, I thought I would give them another chance. My wonton soup in my photos sadly is worse than last time. The broth is awful the vegetables are overcooked or possibly not fresh. But what I can't actually stomach (and won't be eating is the wonton, I can't really identify the taste or if they have any filling, but they are like eating slime....sorry this is not recommended and the shop is not clean enough for my liking.......sadly the service is not friendly unless the student is working.....

   First time trying Ohauiti takeaways. We were wanting to get Chinese but it was all over by the time we got there around 7pm which was ashame. We ended up getting the $8 fish and chips bundle ( family special) and a $8 hamburger + fish + chip deal. Everything was good and cooked well. Hamburgers were nice to. Will post a picture of them next time. Would be great if they could add the hours on the door of when Chinese takeaways is avaliable as the person who served us wasn't sure and I'd love to try it!
