Been coming here pretty consistently for nearly 3 years and we have never been left disappointed. Pizzas are great and I love the unique varied toppings. My personal favourite is the buffalo chicken. The combination of the spicy buffalo sauce and blue cheese is so good. My partner is vegetarian and she absolutely loves ordering the nourish bowl and arancini balls. Flavours are amazing and it is not too naughty. The chocolate tart was to die for. The combination of the rich chocolate and fresh orange sorbet is delightful. Staff are always amazing. Very friendly and attentive. Just wish the jalapeño poppers could come back on the menu, they were our favourites
Croissant was tasty, everything cooked as it should be. Husband's meal was good, generous servings. The only downfall was the coffee, it tasted weak. Good extensive menu. Otherwise everything else was good. We were there midweek for a late lunch, so they weren't that busy serving. Loved the furniture too.
We have been coming here for the last four weeks. The food is exceptional. The staff are so lovely and it has to been the best coffee in Tauranga by far. It is delicious four times in a row. Absolutely perfect! I can’t go past the Nourish bowl. So well put together and absolutely delicious every time. My husband loves the chicken salad, I t’s his favourite. He tried the kiwi burger this time round, which he enjoyed but would definitely go back to the salad next time. And as always at the end my husband says this is the best crème brûlée in the whole of New Zealand. He comes back for the crème brûlée. It is divine. Thank you The Good Local for having constant good food and wonderful people serving us. We really do appreciate you.
Great place to pop into for a bite to eat. Pizza's looked good, but my steak was so tasty. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Great on a cold night.

Its the place to go for most who live in Pyes Pa. The staff are great and make a point of getting to know you so you are greeted by name when you arrive.. Whether its a catch up with friends, a stop in on Friday after work or a midweek meal, The Good Local offers a great selection of delicious bar food and meals and the restaurant is always busy. We love having a place to go that really is our local.
Just had some snacks before dinner. Food was delicious and the customer service was excellent. Children friendly, my daughter got the colourful pencils and paper to do the colours.
First time there. Absolutely loved the food! From the moist chicken burger to the dessert, everything was A++ Made to feel welcome when we arrived plus the wait staff were on point. Would definitely recommend to try this place out if you haven't already.
Great service. A really friendly vibe. The salads are so good. Would come back for that! Though we feel the calamari is lack of flavor, and flat bread is slightly hard.
