The parking lot is in the back side of shop. Customer can drive from beside the shop to the end and turn left to the car park.
Really lovely and well stocked but the prices are outrageous. EG Selling systema meal boxes $6each, more than they cost new (5 for $24).
Why has the Lake Road hospice shop changed their clothing displays. It used to be easy to shop for clothing as everything was displayed under sizes. I knew I could walk in and quickly browse my appropriate size rack. Now the clothing is displayed willy nilly and I haven't bought an item of clothing since. Who in their wisdom thought this was a good idea? Not the customers thats for sure!
I always get great bargains from here and I'm happy to support local by shopping here for my next treasure. Very friendly staff who are always willing to help
This is becoming my fave op shop so far, some talk about prices being a bit high but boy they prob have not seen Auckland op shops yet. I've been coming here with little to no idea as to what I wanted to get and would always leave with something. Always fun browsing. Got an old mirror one day, a handcrafted cookie jar, and most recently - this 1981 oil painting for $5 like wow. Highly recommend this place for homewares, decor and the like, I didn't really get any success with clothing but I'm picky. Decent amount of parking available, and note that their upstairs and downstairs areas have separate entrances. Staff are very friendly and would always validate my purchases lol I feel enabled sometimes!
Loved this op shop! Only got to see the main shop as the warehouse was closed but still found some treasures. Vintage pieces were very well priced for what they were.
It's pretty good, large range of stuff at reasonable prices. You gotta make sure you have a good look at the upstairs and down stairs sections. There is a lot of parking but it can be hard to get in and out of the lot when it's busy.
We went here yesterday and they have some awesome items but I would classify this more of an antique store than an opportunity shop. Great that it goes back to a good cause. They also have a huge warehouse which is only open on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. The staff there are very nice and assisting.
What a great place. Staff is always helpful, good quality goods at really bargain prices. The main shop is especially nice, always well laid out, very appealing. Be careful not to get carried away!
