Excellent service, I loved the option of creating your own plate- the portion sizes blew me away, definitely a good bang for your buck. The meat was tasty and melt in mouth. We look forward to coming back again.
If you're looking for incredibly hospitable staff with tasty beverages this is definitely a spot to visit. I had come in for a beer and ended up staying for a few paddles with the manager talking me through each beer whenever he popped by. Very smashable beers decently priced for NZ Craft beer.
Pretty quiet and low key. Great service. Great selection of drinks. I had a cider. Definitely recommend. Easy access on Hood Street central location.
Dinner, drinks, live music! Great night had last night. Friendly staff. Cheap food that was actually worth it. The fish n chips were good. Wedges was a big portion. Sour cream would of made it better but there was enough cheese and bacon that it was OK. Good range of beer and cocktails. Bit pricey for the drinks.
We liked quality fresh craft beers and a select wine list. The food menu was great for the brewery, which complements the drinks perfectly with its quality ingredients and flavors. Service is excellent,bartender is very helpful, and the ambiance is inviting, making it an ideal spot for those who appreciate the beauty of simplicity with tastfull IPAs and burgers. We'd like to come back.
The food was simple but good. The 15 on tap beer selection was incredible. Peter really knows how to brew great beer on site. Well worth a visit!!
Long story short Very bad experience at Patrons from the venue manager. We booked this venue 3 months in advance and he tried to cancel 2 weeks out from the event. Since we had the proofs of comms between his staff he wasn't able cancel and started to add unwanted costs like security charges and venue cleaning fee etc... He thinks an event organiser is suppose to do all the job at the venue. Asked us to move all the furniture at the bar to make space for dancefloor and setup the venue sound system. Also charged us extra for cleaning and creating lots of unnecessary problems during the event. Overall very unprofessional management. They just need money no service or any hospitality. There is no wonder why this place is always empty even on a Friday and Saturday night. NB: This venue manager never replies to any emails and wants to discuss everything over the phone. So make sure you have things in writting before doing anything at this place. The venue manager got bouncer in to the conversation when the organiser questioned the costs imposed by the venue which were excessive as compared to current market price and the bouncer stayed until all the extra bills that venue manager wants event organisers to pay which is again venue associated costs. Never recommend this venue to anyone who want a stress free event experience.
Made the worst mistake of having dinner here. Food is more ideal for snacks or nibbles whilst drinking. Food was honestly not good and small portions… the fried chicken was the worst - Tiny pieces, crumbed and fried, plus a brush of sauce ! Not even a small bowl of sauce. Disappointing
This is a great spot to savor draft beer and delicious food.
