While walking down the frozen aisle there was a female worker throwing packets of frozen chips into the freezer to fill it. Did not look good at all, they were all over the place. Maybe she needs a lesson in how to place them in, so people can actually see them properly.
Very poorly managed store. Most of the items I wanted were out of stock and had been for weeks. Deli was closed at 6:30pm, I asked the staff why and they said the staff were out the back having their cigarette break. I checked back 30 mins later and they will still on their break. The bakery had no paper bags for the pastries, was the same a week prior making it the 3rd time. The Indian ladies at the front counter didn't care at all when I asked what was going on. I asked to speak to the manager and they told me the manager was busy out the back eating their dinner. Very unprofessional. The management needs to replaced with someone competent. I also suggest any customers check the expiry dates on products as this supermarket is known to sell fresh products like chicken weeks past the date, and don't expect the staff at the deli to care.
I recently had a fantastic experience at Woolworths on Moorhouse Ave, Christchurch. I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service I received. Not only did the supermarket have everything I needed for my last min grocery run, but the customer service was truly top-notch. I was on the hunt for a specific low-carb Australian pasta brand and couldn't seem to find it. That's when Sam, a remarkable young lady, stepped in to help. Despite having a trolley full of items to stock on the shelves, she took the time to assist me in locating the pasta. It turned out that the stock information on the website hadn't been synced, but Sam's dedication and effort made me feel valued and grateful. Her commitment to going above and beyond was evident, and I can't express enough how much her assistance meant to me. Although I'm not sure of Sam's job title, this young lady certainly deserves a promotion or pay rise for her exceptional service. Thank you, Sam, for making my shopping experience at Woolworths a five-star trip. Your hard work and kindness truly made a difference!
On the reception lady staff her name is Sharon and she was very very rude today around 4:20pm. I was on perfect time to return carpet cleaner but the way she talk with me, it was completely unacceptable she was very disrespectful. Moreover she refused me to return my $50 bond. I need my money back please.
Clean, well stocked whenever I've gone, the only thing I didn't like was that I've often seen stickers over the price, so you can't see the price. The staff that I have interacted with have always been nice. However, for range, I would just go to the paknsave down the road....
During my first visit to a supermarket in New Zealand, I was struck by the wide range of products available, all of which were meticulously arranged and presented with great cleanliness. The prices of fresh produce, cheese, and milk were also very reasonable, making for a very satisfying shopping experience. Moreover, the supermarket was accompanied by a convenient parking lot, and there were other nearby businesses to explore, adding to the overall enjoyment of the visit.
We like the ease of parking. You can be in and out having easily bought our groceries from the well stocked shelves and checkout is easy too. We appreciate that it becomes NOT a chore but an easy task.. seriously thankyou!!
Horrendous experience here time and again, I came to scope out the fish due to accidentally buying some salmon past its best before and saw they have coloured in the date on the 20th of December to reprint a label in January. The service is honestly terrible too. Their click and collect has been wrong so many times in the past. Shop elsewhere.
