It is so lovely to be greeted in a takeaway outlet with a smile and warm welcoming. I don't eat burgers but my partner raves about them and the look delicious. Can't fault their fish at all. Definitely recommend.
The Roadhouse was recommended to us so decided to give it a go. We ordered 2 pieces of gurnard but found 3 in the packet, bonus. And a portion of chips. The fish was lovely and fresh and chips were excellent. We live in Highfields so will be regulars from now on.
Stopped on my way through worst fish and chips I have ever had! The fat is old therefore everything is dark brown and gross, the fish, Dory at $6.90ea was so smelly had to leave the windows of the car down all night to get rid of the strong fish odor and the packet was not even opened in the car! Chips were overcooked and like I said brown, everything was aweful and so unappertising it went in the bin... CHANGE YOUR FAT.. Wonder what the food rating is?? Give it a miss
I will not be spending my money there or my family ever again. The last visit the husband was rude, and the wife got irritated at me while her husband stuffed up orders in front of a waiting customer. I dreaded going back the third time for the correct order. Unsatisfied with the upgraded cheese burger with the blieu cheese to mimic the one i wanted and microwaved it, hard burnt bottom bun. No good. On the verge of dishonest. Rip off
I was home on vacation with the family and got fish n chips for dinner for the family. Great food and service. Will be back next time on vacation. Wasn't too sure how much to feed a family of 7, was helpped out what deal to get. Good price and feed us all.
Got to be the worst and most expensive fish & chips I have purchased in living memory. Fish was over cooked and the chips were actually inedible and went straight to the food scraps bin. Went to The Road House on the recommendation of a friend but never again. Dreadful food.
Awful fish, chips & potato fritters. The fish didnβt taste good. The chips were inedible and went in the bin. Fritters were greasy. First and last time weβll go there. Waste of almost $37 for two people.
