The menu promised to be an interesting spread of North Indian and South Indian options, with some Indo-Chinese items thrown in. Overall, the taste of the items were okay. The hakka noodles were good. But sadly, for some of the dishes with gravy, they had clearly used a significant amount of food coloring. That was very disappointing. It is simply not excusable, in this day and age. Also, the upkeep of the restaurant did not seem the most clean. The floor felt mildly oily. The tables and the seating were not completely clean. The staff is friendly. Overall, it felt that attention to keep the place in top shape - for food quality and for overall service - is missing. Sad. Because the place has potential, given its food options and its location.

Butter chicken was nice enough, couldβve done with a bit more flavour, and the portion size was good but the garlic naan was badly charcoal burnt. So itβs no surprise that I couldnβt taste the garlic.

Nice looking on line presence, nice looking menu, nice looking establishment, worst curry we have had in a very very long time. Unfortunately this was a complete let down. Food had no flavor, no spice no presentation, nan was half size. The Kingfisher was very good though. We will not be returning.

I went there to try Hakka chicken noodles as I heard a lot from my friends. But the taste was average. We also ordered chicken lollipop and paneer Tikka which were average in taste as well. The worst part was the service. We literally asked 3 times for the glass of water. When our order arrived the noodles were hanging all over the bowl. Very disappointed.

I ordered masala dosa as takeaway this is the second time I had same experience and both time they gave a very less masala and very badly cooked dosa (so hard) it has disappointed me a lot, when I went for dine in then they serve a better qty but not for takeaways. Very bad experience and this is my last time I ordered something with them.

One of the best restaurants in tauranga.. Amazing food with authentic Indian touch. Prices are reasonable. Well maintained place with super friendly staff. Goat biriyani is one of the must tries.. packed with spices. Good place for family and friends catchup.

We highly anticipated coming here and did not disappoint. Friendly and attentive staff. Very quick service, we were eating within 5 minutes of walking in. Delicious meals, I had the 'kiwi mild' butter chicken which was not hot at all and sweet, husband had 'indian mild' which had a little spice and was creamy, I recommend the Garlic Naan. Large portions left us stuffed. And the price is amazing.
