The food at Doon Tandoor is very delicious and is very affordable. The staff were also very kind and provided amazing service. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re after Indian Food and in Hamilton!
Disappointed with rice portion for a curry. Ordered a Kadai chicken curry was just okay I have tasted much better Kadai chicken in Indian restaurants. Service was top class. But you need to do justice with food you are serving. Not coming back again
The server has this beaming smile when we walked in which just started things off right. Her name is Khushboo. Everyone was really friendly and all smiles, though. I order the garlic naan (cooked well done), vegetable samosa, Matar Pulao rice, plain basmati rice, tandoori chicken, and butter chicken lollipops… I rarely eat anywhere wherein I love everything I ate… this place is fantastic. Best Indian cuisine i’ve had in NZ so far. If you love Indian food, this is a must visit spot.
Ordered chicken tikka masala. Curry had very rich flavours. Unique styled bowls. Chicken is super tender. Medium spice packs a punch so if you're sensitive to spice go for mild. Naan bread is very nice, sit and crunchy and fresh tasting. Would recommend.
Best Indian in Hamilton. Amazing flavours. Fresh food. Excellent staff. So friendly and accommodating. We will be back’ thanks.
