   Hi just wanted to say that today my wife and I were shopping and met a young Mitre 10 man called called Devon. He was extremely helpful and very knowlegable. Absolutely went above and beyond. I don't know if he would remember but we were the couple shopping for a shade umbrella for our grandaughters birthday.    Customer service exceeded my expectations. Greetings and service with a smile afforded by knowledgeable staff. A duty manager assisted cheerfully as we chose a suitable pot for a particular plant, lifting and showing us various pots patiently. She even lifted a heavy bag of potting mix onto our cart and gave us an on the spot discount without us asking for it. The rest of the crew assisted us efficiently. One of them even pushed our cart to our parking spot, then lifted the bag of potting mix onto our car's boot. How can we not recommend this shop? We'll surely be back for other essential items among their greatly wide range.

   We bought a cultivator/ rotary hoe in middle of August but when we got use it, its start make big smoke like train. So we brought it back to the shop and chased them when we can get back. We didn't know they actually repaired..anyway. we got machine's back and start to use but it's not working.. so we brought back it to the shop again. We contacted many times to know what happening , 2 times cut telephone somehow , 2 times been told they will call us back, but never back... We contacted again and have to wait to the guys back to work as always same answer.. Finally today, we got txt back and have to wait for repair guy to contact back.. Now already 3 months now since we bought it and never have a chance to use it!!! WE JUST WANT MONEY BACK!!!!

   Love this store. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Mitre 10 also has a coffee shop inside and a playground and if you have kids they can play and have fun. They also have a wide selection of plants to choose from. Thier toilets are also well maintained and clean. Pet friendly store also as I can see some customers bring their dogs with them. A lot of DIY tools to choose from too. They also have a lot of counters when you pay. I would definetly come back to this store. Thumbs up for me.

   Staff extremely racist and unbelievably rude. We were just selecting a box to hold our purchased products near the designated free boxes area. A middle-aged lady with grey hair suddenly came and shouted at us aggressively: "You are not allowed to take any of these boxes!! Read the sign!!" I was shocked but asked politely: "Sorry Ma'am, I'm a bit confused, the sign says please select a box suitable for your products." The lady then shouted at us again:" You can't take boxes if you don't purchase!". "We have purchased." I showed the lady our plant poles leaning beside along with several other purchased products. The lady paused a bit, then shouted at us arrogantly again: "None of the boxes will fit your sticks so you cannot take any of the boxes! If you want a box that fits your sticks, you must buy it from Aisle x for 3 dollars!" She then pulled out a box from the free boxes, and sneered contemptuously:"if you want a free box you must take this one, because only this box will fit your sticks!". She then grabbed our other purchased products and threw them in. Despite us finding a better box, the lady just kept forcing us to take her pick and insisting ours won't fit. She kept questioning us, teasing us, and forcing us to say if we don't take her pick, then we are using the box for something else, not to hold the products. Seeing us not taking her chosen box, the lady threatened in a tone dripping with condescension: 'I'm just gonna find my manager,' and then she walked away, leaving us astonished at being targeted out of nowhere. After that lady left, a young lady who witnessed the whole scene approached us (not the manager), asked if we were all right. We thanked the young lady, and asked if we could take our chosen box to hold the products. The young lady said of course.

   Took my elderly parents here yesterday to get a outside storage unit. We dealt with Caitlin and had the best service we have ever received. Not only was she patient and helpful but she even offered to drop it off on her way home?! This lady is a true asset and deserves a pay rise

   Very good general store for everything home and garden. One of better equipped and organised stores with clear and not confusing marking, so you can find everything you may need from tools, to bathroom and kitchen, paints, garden plants, daily accessories. Everything you need for home. In addition a cherry on the top is staff. Always nice and friendly. Every shop should learn about customer service from Mitre10 staff ! One of the best teams and approach to clients I have ever seen. Always there to help when you need and assist in any type of enquiry you may have. Always happy to come back.

   It's a Big store so you expect to see a big choice of products. Sadly when I was there recently the choices for the items I was after were not "lots of everything" but "lots of the same few products spread across the shelves" - in essence to make it look like a grander range than it really was . Even the assistant was in agreement when I told here exactly that when asked if I was finding what I wanted. I reckon there's better places around you can consider unless you know they stock what you require before you go there.
