My car broke down and had to be taken to the mechanic shop. I was sad. I needed a Kebab to cheer me up, and holy cow this place delivered. This was pure joy wrapped up in a pita. The kebab was delicious, the staff was friendly, and getting it to takeaway meant that I didn’t have to do dinner dishes that night. Thank you Kebab Father!
Best souvlaki shop in christchurch. Always fresh and taste is unmatched. Have tried different souvlaki shops and this place is better than all. Very kind staff.
UPD: the Chef Ali that was making great meals and making us feel great is not there anymore. Now it is just another kebab place. Nothing special. Oh man oh man. This place is just fantastic. The lamb marinated in spices and tasted amazing. I bought a meal and was not disappointed. Salad was rich in flavour, full of tomatoes and spiced up just right. Meat was placed on top of the bread and it completely gave bread a nice marinated flavour at the end. Rice was very well cooked, not mushy with great texture. Price wise it is a little more expensive than others, BUT IT IS WORTH every penny as you get more food. More meat was offered, salad isn't just cabbage with sauce, BUT ACTUAL salad. Marinated cabbage was great too, adding more flavour to the whole meal. My partner went for a chicken kebab souvlaki. It was wrapped in a way so it is eatable with nothing coming out. Meat is very nicely cooked with salad and sauces and was very rich in flavour. Tzatziki sauce was a fantastic addition to kebab. It was very nice and juicy. She loved every bite of it. As we came in we were very warmly greeted and offered best deals. We decided to dine in and were looked after like VIP clients. Definitely will be coming back as from now on this is my favourite kebab shop in the whole Christchurch. Believe me I've tried many. Thank you team that made us feel VIP.
Very delicious food, after looking for an authentic Turkish restaurant we finally landed on one that was very much tasty. Would highly recommend people to go here, friendly chef, clean and spacious area. Definitely worth your money. By far best food we have had in Christchurch since coming here for a Holiday.
The small meat on rice is perfect for lunch, always friendly and the food is delicious

Okay , really loved the food, but extremely unsatisfied with the staff, there was a girl working, she doesnt know how to greet properly and I noticed that an uber guy came for delivering the food, she didnt greet back to him and her gestures were extremely rude towards him, N just like you hospitality people, delivery guys are also the hero, I am sorry but your staff does need to know some hospitality approachability, ethics and manners , please train them properly !!!!
Arrived at 6pm Friday night. Ordered food. The 1 person working then talked on her phone and made a hot drink for herself. Requested a refund after 5 minutes of her talking on her phone not even starting the order. She then told us she was waiting for the hot plate and deep fryer to heat up as she'd just opened (at 6pm, website says opening is 11am) We were not told we would have to wait when we ordered and as the only guests on site we assumed it would be fast as we were time restricted. She said she could not do a refund as she didn't have any money and didn't know how to do it on the eftpos machine. Dead empty on a Friday at 6pm should of been a give away.
