Absolutely love this place. The owners are amazing and so kind, gone here for ages and absolutely in love with the service. A medium riceball feeds this big back 2-3 meals depending how much I’ve eaten that day. Even without bias for the service, the food exceeds all the rest, wonderful spot, LOVE IT!
Came all the way from auckland to try a sushi ball. It lived up to the hype!!! It was so so fire oh my days. The ratio was so so good. Heaps of meat and avocado. Deliciously saucy. 10000% recommend

Fresh, hot riceball made upon order with so much yummy filling and the perfect amount of sauce. I got the small size half crispy chicken/half teriyaki chicken riceball with extra spicy mayo for $9, and the riceball was NOT small at all - it was HUGE so I could barely hold it in one hand! The owner was super lovely as well - definitely will become a regular as it's on my way home from work as well☺️
This was our first time visiting samurai sushi and we enjoyed it very much. The food was fresh and made on the spot. The staff were very kind and helpful!

The best sushi in Christchurch by far! I always get a freshly made rice ball. It’s one of the first things I wanted to get when I moved back from the UK I loved them so much. Always made fresh, and the rice balls are nice and warm when you get them. Such friendly staff too, he always knows our order when we come in. HIGHLY recommend!
