Fully enjoyed my stir fry noodles here — great flavor, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked! Definitely coming back again.
This restaurant gives Chinese customers a separate menu with higher prices for the same dishes (e.g. $25 vs $27, $23 vs $27). We ordered from the English menu but were still charged the higher Chinese menu price. Very unfair practice – check your bill carefully!
I found the Ashburton Branch had less fatty beef, and much fresher/tastier roti bread. I really enjoyed my meal from the Ashburton branch. Not so much from this branch. I ordered the Slow Cooked Beef Massaman Curry. Flavour was nice but the beef and roti not as good.
Yellow curry is always good. The prawns were yum, but the actual fried rice wasn't best. Accepted cash and card. Self-serve water and utensils on table. Food was ready very quickly. Not busy at 2:30 PM, lol. We were the only customers. The outside signage is really nice. We just parked on the street. The inside decor is not super fancy. But it's in congruence with every other Thai place I've been. Even though we dined in, we were given paper plates. Definitely clean and we'll cared for.
Food was alright, nothing special. Presentation and taste was giving takeaways, and not like we were eating at a restaurant. The meals were served on paper plates and bowls. I had the peanut sauce chicken stir fry dish and it tasted pretty average and bland.
My favourite Thai place. Order quite alot from Ubereats. The Pad Thai is delicious and there's alot of it. I usually need to order extra meat as there's not alot of chicken but I don't care because it tastes delicious
Food was absolutely delicious, I will definitely be ordering again. However your meat options need to include more than 5 small pieces of meat. And when adding extras for $5 it needs to be more than what is given. Otherwise taste and quality is amazing!
We have ordered a couple of times for delivery. The 'taste' of the food is amazing however for all three meat dishes, the amount of meat included was a few pieces per dish(ordered : pad prik king, drunken noodles, peanut sauce stir fried) . One chicken dish(drunken noodles) literally had two pieces of chicken. Probably best to stick to the vegetarian option to avoid disappointment :(
I think this is the best Thai takeaway in Christchurch The slow cooked Massaman Beef and Pork Drunken noodles would be my favorite, but every dish is good
