Nice ambience, in restaurant. Very good portions nicely cooked. Had hot chicken jalfrezi which hit the spot. Somosa were good too.
Came in for a takeaway as I was craving a hot Indian meal on a cold and wet Christchurch night. The man taking the orders was fantastic, sorry I didn’t get your name or see a name badge or anything but he gave me Fantastic service, very polite and friendly. I got a chicken madras (hot) a garlic naan and a roti (buttered) came with complimentary Popperdoms, all pretty decent, nice tender chicken and depth of flavour and spice, was expecting a bit hotter but that was fine. Would definitely recommend and look forward to trying out some of the other dishes here.
Really disappointed with the food. We usually go to Bollyfood and tried somewhere new since the ratings are pretty good. Honestly the butter chicken and chicken madras similar vibe but worse than mall Indian. Chicken was tough with that slightly old taste. Just uninspiring and annoying. Do better please
Ordered a lamb biryani. Didn't taste like biryani at all - no taste of spices in the rice, no flavour at all. Imagine I had to eat the raw chopped onions with the biryani so that I can finish the rice as I hate wastage (even though I hate onions, especially raw ones). It seemed like the chef just randomly stirred in the raw onions at the end before packing it in the box. That's how bad it is. It's just edible coloured plain rice with a few pieces of lamb - just don't call it biryani. Perhaps it's time for the chef to try the biryani from other restaurants, which actually contain spices such as, cardamom, cloves, coriander and nuts. Very disappointed since Google reviews showed a high rating. It didn't live up to its high reputation on Google.
Nice service and great food! We had chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, plan naan, and aloo paratha. Everything was perfect and very tasty. One of the best Indian restaurants in Christchurch! Highly recommended
Good customer service. Ordered Chicken Madras which was excellent with tender, juicy chicken. Paneer Makhni was well cooked and Dal Makhni was well made too. Portion sizes are good.

The dish was very tasty and of generous proportions. The meal was served quickly, by friendly staff. I liked the way the menu was set out,and it is not my last visit to the Saket.

Very friendly and nice staff. Sana was serving us and was very polite and patiencive . Good was very good and well balanced. Best food we had while our tour to New Zealand. Loved the atmosphere and lovely place. Very neat and clean, with good service, food and friendly staff. 5 star earned
