   Had the takeaway tikka nan at lunch (only $10 each) they were amazing! Very filling, perfect for lunch. The chicken tasted so good and the mint sauce that came with it on the side was also amazing. Deffo going to have one of these again! We also booked for my partners birthday which we are very much looking forward to after the great lunch! It might not seem open at lunch though as the door was closed, but we rang and they were still there reading for the lunch takeaways Edit- we visited again for an evening meal and it was fantastic. We felt so much looked after. The curries were so authentic tasting, we had the mixed platter starter - the chicken was incredible! Every part of the meal was great and we spoke to the owner for a long time about different dishes and he was lovely. He told me that the chef makes his own paneer - so I would recommend getting that! We can’t wait to come back again, best Indian we’ve had in New Zealand! (Also recommend the berry bliss mocktail) thank you for such a fantastic meal and evening!

   We drove 65Km to try something diffrent in a country side location on a rainy evening. And It was 100% worth it. Food was amazing and so was the service! Lovely staff who made sure we were comfortable from the start to The end. Child friendly as well. This place definitely deserves 5 stars and worth the drive. Give them a try. Once again thanks for your hospitality and we will definitely be back again.

   The BEST Indian restaurant in New Zealand!! The menu is incredible, so many dishes that I hadn’t seen at any other Indian restaurant and reminded me of my time in India, It was very hard to choose one! I tasted my friends goat curry - yum!!! I had a paneer curry it was amazing, naan was perfection and the gulab jamun for desert was so good i loved that they served it with ice cream. They were busy which was great for a small town restaurant, the service was outstanding, the girls working at the front were wonderful so friendly and efficient. Overall I have to say this really was the BEST Indian restaurant I’ve experienced in NZ and we have been to a lot all over the country.

   An experience so bad I sadly have to share. We ordered our food in store at 5pm, told there’s a 20 min wait. Came back 25 mins later to be told another 5 mins. A further 20 mins later we were met with a third staff member who chose to argue with a hungry woman, telling me I never ordered until 5.20pm because that was on his docket. No apology or empathy he said “here’s your food” and walked off, no shame in having this argument in front of all other customers. Our food was cold - seems it was cooked at 5pm after all.
