I am never coming back here again. I was given a warm rice ball and ended up with really bad food poisoning. Even now, about six months later, whenever I eat sushi I feel physically ill.

Asked for combo to be made up of sushi and it was no problem. The service was friendly and fast. The sushi was excellent! And its a modern, very clean nice place to be inside. I will definitely be back.

Arrived on a late Sunday afternoon, it had no diners inside so had the restaurant to ourselves. We ordered teriyaki chicken sushi, and a crispy katsu chicken rice bento bowl. The sushi came with 8 pieces around $12 bucks; normally I would never spend that much on just sushi, but i was too hungry. Flavour wise it was just fine, tasted like it had been freshly made though which was good for a late afternoon. The chicken bowl was $15.50 regular size, and looked full and inviting just like the picture advertised; the chicken was indeed crispy and the sauce was tasty. The rice at the bottom was packed in, you had to really dig in to the bottom if you wanted a mouthful of chicken/salad/rice. Overall, it hit the hunger spot temporarily, would recommend for a quick easy lunch choice.

We visited here because of some good reviews. After trying it out, personally, I don't think it's worth 5 stars; I would give it 3.5 stars. It's operated by two different teams, one focusing on bowl products and another on sushi products. We ordered the Katsu chicken on rice. The chicken was too dry and cold; if it were softer, we might have found it acceptable. We also ordered the salmon sushi; the salmon was okay, and the rice with vinegar was also good. We also ordered the super crunchy chicken bowl from the other team. The chicken was served warm, and salad was provided. The presentation was good, but the worst part was the bowl they used; all the rice stuck to it, wasting a lot of rice. If they could spend a bit more on smooth-surface bowls, it might be even better. The taste was also a bit too salty.

Very yummy food. A lot of choices to choose from. Drop by here before going shopping in the mall hub.

Nice little sushi shop next to The Hub Hornby, itβs probably their biggest advantage that they are located in a separate building and even have own parking space. Regarding food itβs wide options of various sushi and bento bowls, they are all fresh and crispy , but quality is average , nothing special and comparable to what you can get in the Hub. Just more places to sit, bit more quiet and better privacy than in busy mall, so if you are after quick bite and get your sushi itβs a safe bet and good, solid place for your lunch or dinner at good price.

Sushi is good, prices too. But only for take away. It's almost impossible to sit down and eat comfortably. Extremely terrible music (bum bum with howling) and much too loud. If I want to go to a club, I first get drunk to be able to stand such music... Just play something "normal" in the background. I've been there twice now during my lunch break, both times the same.

Big room for customer , but Carpark is not sufficient , Foods are no special and overall similar to the shops in each malls in christchurch city , only soft drinks provided on shop . No special recommedation . Writer did not stay at this shop longer due to no special food .

Cool little shop. The guy who served me was very tall, had a good sense of humor. The rest of the staff were friendly too. Busy bees working away making good quality sushi. I got the teriyaki chicken on rice for an absolute steal. Personally I would prefer a little more salt on the rice but it worked pretty good. Real good experience over all.

If I could rate 0 stars then I would as this Sushi Bar doesn't deserve any sort of rating it is THAT BAD. I live locally and I have been to this St Pierre's a number of times. Customer Service is very Poor, all the staff look at you blankly as you wait to be served?? The manager (A guy wearing glasses) has also been rude a number of times all because you ask if some Sushi can be made up fresh as they haven't bothered to remake any. They need to sack the manager in my opinion as all the staff look absolutely miserable and noone wants to be there. I have had enough and will go elsewhere from now on. Very very poor. Higher Management need to act fast as you are losing customers rapidly.
