I got food poisoning here on Sunday. I ordered a rice ball, 8 pack of sushi (teriyaki) and a prawn roll. Tasted good and the staff were nice but I’m rough as guts
Best sushi in town!! I couldn’t find the order option on the website and they’re so busy it would be great if I could order by messenger.
Highly recommend the mini teriyaki balls and the crispy chicken rice ball. I dont fall apart while you eat. Super yum
My absolute favourite local sushi spot! I’ve always loved Avonhead Sushi Time - especially their mini sushi, which I’ve been getting for years. I also recommend the prawn sushi roll, it’s so yummy! Prices have gone up a bit, but that’s just the cost of living these days. Still highly recommend!
Located in Avonhead shopping centre a very tiny shop, but a mighty one. The sushi was spectacular, way better than most other sushi shops and chains. Miso shop very nice but was individually prepared. We will be back
My fav sushi is chicken teriyaki baby sushi! Best sushi in Chch!
It's good when it's fresh, but it often isn't. They always have cold and almost stale rice balls. If you get a warm one then I'd say it's probably one of the best in chch but the price keeps going up and it's becoming not worth the dice roll. I prefer places where they make less of them so they are fresh.
Best, most delicious sushi in town. Pricing is really reasonable. Can’t beat the teriyaki chicken! Staff are really friendly too. 10/10 will eat again!
Unassuming little place that makes delicious fresh sushi. Friendly staff who are happy to prepare your order while you wait if they are out of stock of your preferred item. The hidden gem of Avonhead Mall.
The best sushi that I had around Christchurch. Unfortunately I stopped buying from here because the price was going up significantly every year. The price of most of the products almost doubled since I started buying from here a few years ago. If you don't mind paying a bit more than the other sushi places around, the sushi is certainly good.
