Ordered sweet sour chicken as per photo - very disapoonted, got chewy pork( think that what it was) could not eat it, I could have done a better sauce myself, 3/4 of tray was rice & no brocoli as per picture. So annoyed but couldnt be bothere the drive back to complain. Have had F&C from there a long time ago, good.

Stopped in for some fish and chips and it was the best I’ve had in a while! Friendly, quick service, tender fish cooked to perfection and served with a lemon wedge (bonus!!!) and crispy, perfectly salted hot chips which you can tell were cooked in fresh oil. Not to mention, super affordable prices, especially the lunch specials! I really recommend this place :)

These people don’t care about what they serve you, we ordered sweet and sour pork, one fish of the day (batter) and a wonton noodle soup total cost 48$ The sweat and sour pork was pretty much all rice with three tablespoons of pork that had the texture of jerky and two small pieces of pineapple. The wonton noodle soup with a silent cause there was no soup due to the amount of noodles they put in it. We had a spoon out of the pork dish and ate a few Wontons from the soup. First and last time going there for us, shop was empty which makes sense now.

My last visit to this place was October and we ordered fish and chips. Was good. But this time I got Wonton Char siu nooodles. With only 18NZD I cannot expect more but it really cheered or warmed me up by the soup. Good portion. Maybe the Char sui pork was not very fresh but Wonton and noodles are okay. Will come back to try the fish and chips again.

In my opinion, one of the best fish and chips in Auckland. If you want to try something different from the classic beer battered fish, they have the crumbed option (really yummy!)

Been here a few times now and each time the food has been fresh and nicely cooked. It's in St Heliers so prices are slightly higher than in some parts of the city although worth the extra. We went there on a busy Saturday evening so there was a 20 minute wait for our order. The staff were friendly and informed us of the delay. We look forward to going there again. If you are from out of the area then we recommend taking your food up the hill to watch the sunset from above Ladies Bay looking back over the Sky Tower.
