   Really disappointed. Just before Christmas I ordered 5 kebabs from Food Choice Papatoetoe. On the way home there was a wierd smell. When I took a bite, it tasted off and I opened the kebab to find a chunk of cabbage slightly wilted and rubbery inside. It definitely wasn’t fresh. I called the shop and they told me cabbage is mixed with lettuce and has been for over 10 years, and that I should have asked for it to be taken out. How was I supposed to know they mix cabbage with lettuce in kebabs? I’ve never heard of that before. There was no apology and no concern — just blaming the customer. Bad food and even worse customer service. I won’t be going back.

   Ordered through uber eats waited over an hour for the food to be ready and then by the time I got it my chips were stone cold and the burger was cold and bun soggy and didn’t taste nice. I’m not sure that would have changed even if it was hot. Pretty disappointing. Will not be ordering from here again .

   Dem my reviews every year go up n down. Bad, good to bad again. Kebabs just taste like a squirt of sauce in your mouth. So overpowering to know what else you’re eating.

   Kebab way too sweet and the chips weren't as good - Neither as good as lil abners. The special sauce though was really good as was the Crab Salad (Lil Abners Crab Salad is shockingly bad as it obviously been refreeze and defrosted constantly yuck). Overall Choice Bar isn't as good as Lil Abners but way better than Moosa Kebabs on Shirley Road, Papatoetoe which is overrated

   Quite popular place in Papatoetoe. Foods great and prices aren't too bad. I usually get the chicken kebab combo and their secret sauce is amazing. Closes late so if you're looking for a late night feed that's not Maccas or fast food, choice is the way to go

   New owners or something. Absolutely sucks now and gotten worse over time. Used to be a go to but then stopped going for a while cos it became more misses then hits with the taste and quality of food. Place used to be on the same level with Lil Abners but now, please just don’t bother! RIP Choice
