Had a great experience here this morning with Shashee (apologies if wrong spelling). She was friendly, professional and clearly took care and time to deliver great results. Got plenty of compliments for my new haircut and blow dry styling for an important event this morning. Hazel was also lovely and was very understanding in her communication and resolution of a miscommunication. Very professional. Overall, great quality for reasonable prices. Thank you, will be happy to come back. :)
I recently went to get my perm done. I have to say a big Thank you to staff who were making feel comfortable, offering my coffee or water and especially Dave who did the Perm. Terrible experience. Have heard negative things about Kess in general but decided to try it anyway given the deal on Grabone. $99 for global colour, shampoo, cut and blow dry. I went in and showed them the deal online which they were happy to do but said I could purchase the Grabone service for the same price through them directly, rather than paying through the Grabone website. The stylist dyed my hair, shaved two lines and I left with colour all over my neck and face and water still dripping down. Upon paying they charged me an additional $40 over and above the cost of the Grabone voucher because I had opted for a full head of colour. Despite a full head of colour being clearly outlined as part of the package within the Grabone voucher. Silly me for paying this but as it was busy, and I didn’t want to cause a fuss I paid it thinking it would be easy to get in touch later and sort it. Numerous emails to Kess and having to repeat myself multiple times I got nowhere. Have decided to take this to the consumer guarantees/commerce commission - because if they’re doing this to one, they are likely doing this to multiple people.
Popped in on a busy Thursday morning hoping to get my hair done without a booking (very naughty) and PHYU was an absolute gem! She not only managed to fit me into her busy schedule but also turned my hair around! Very professional and such a kind lady, I’ll be back for sure :-). Thank you Phyu
