Great coffee and food! I really like the atmosphere, and the interior design is fantastic. The service was a bit slow, though.
The food was top notch and staff were friendly. They were very busy but we were provided with a warning on ordering that the wait would be longer than usual, but the wait was worth it.
This place is such a hidden gem, which if I'm being honest I wanted to keep hidden - but that's being selfish. The atmosphere, the cosy décor with thoughtful touches, the food, the service, just everything! They serve a diverse range of foods, including authentic South African dishes like bunny chow, biltong and vetkoek, packed with flavour and served in generous portions. There's something for everyone. The coffee art is adorable, so skip the takeaway cup and enjoy it there. It was my sister’s birthday when we visited last, and they surprised her with a slice of cake on the house. The service is always warm and personal, and as a local who’s been here multiple times, it never disappoints. Prices are very fair for the quality, and it’s perfect for a relaxed brunch or a catch up with friends. Must visit!
They offer a great selection of South African snacks and delicious homemade biltong — a real treat if you’re craving authentic flavors. The front desk lady was super friendly and helpful in explaining everything to us. The meals were unique and full of character.
Had a wonderful Sunday brunch here, the staff were absolutely amazing so friendly and happy, was busy but the food wait wasn’t too long. Mocha was best I’ve had in a long time with a cute picture on the top!! Grabbed some Durban curry biltong and a few SA grocery items!!! Will be coming back to try their bunny chow!!!
We just love driving out for a treat(45 min) as it is really worth it for the quality of food, great service and welcome atmosphere. The eggs bene with bacon is next level.
The food were so aromatic and full of flavour! No element in the dish was blend at all. Everything was marinated and spiced well! All of cabinet food and dessert were made on site and each day is different! My favourite dessert was definitely the South African milk tart! All the a la carte were 10/10, no joke! And did I say they do printed coffee latte art?! Friendly staff with great hospitality. Modern, spacious and huge seating area with loads of parking!
Begrudgingly leaving this review as I would love to keep this my new secret spot. Cannot fault this place in any way, from price, to decor to the staff and of course the food. Successfully created 2 new loyal customers keep it up team!
Amazing Coffee, great ambiance, personalised service. Persian Mawa cakes a must try. Staff went above and beyond to cater special dietary needs and provide vegetarian options. Certainly, recommend this place. Guest enjoyed variety of South African beers and wines :-)
