   RE: Visited the closer to countdown, late night on Fri-12-Dec. This is my FIRST EVER review that’s how much I hate these gel nails - such an insult to me! I’m always so forgiving but not for this terrible experience. Man, I was looking forward to getting my nails done with my sister after I had a bad week. I think the boss dealt with me at the counter and he got me excited to try the nail art for the first time (was not his fault). Yeah don’t ever do it, it’s rubbish. I will never come back again - I HATE THESE NAILS they are so ugly, I will redo somewhere else as I have no trust in this store. My nail beds were so sore (she got one nail wrong and had to redo and drilled my nails too much it burned and I pulled my hands away). I didn’t want to waste my time for them to fix this rubbish again (if they redone again I would’ve went home with bleeding fingers). I hate these nails - I hate hate hate hate hate hate them. If you don’t know how to do nails or nail art, I will respect if you give it to someone else. I know her coworkers knew she did a pathetic job. $50 for this. Does this look like a hibiscus flower? A flower that’s on their display nails….oh I wish I could show the display nail…nothing like it. shocking. Like a baby painted it! I showed everyone I know and they were all disgusted at this.

   If I could choose 0 STARS as an option then I would. Zzz I went here out of desperation, and asked for my acrylics to be removed, builder gel & manicure. I had been here once and it was ok in 2021 - yesterday I came in because I needed something from the mall and decided to get my nails done here while we were out and about. She quoted $65. Instead of soaking my nails so that she can remove safely - she ripped it off with another piece of my acrylic and I flinched with pain EBERY MOMENT OF IT and even gripped on to her hand for comfort cos I wanted to to get back up and get walk out but I was already done with running around for the day. She put a polish on and I could she my nails were damaged and she decided to put them under the uv led and it burnt thru my fingers I pulled them out saying it was burning and she said no I have to put them back in so the nails could stick and I told her politely but sternly no my fingers are burning and sore? At that point I should’ve left or asked for a refund but I was so set on getting my nails done and not leaving without getting them done for our engagement photos. I eventually pushed thru looking at my fiance waiting for me, he really wanted to say something but was confused on what was happening as he didn’t know the process but felt bad I was in pain. I pushed thru, and she was so rough when I was struggling thru her being so aggressive. I asked for cateye eventually and she asked for extra so I said yes and then she didn’t even do my heart effect properly cos she got a phone call mid service. I honestly hate this place and I won’t ever come back. I just can’t believe the customer service here, and the fact I didn’t just ask for a refund even if my nails ended up looking ok. The way she went about it ruined my experience and I’ll make sure to book in with actual nail professionals next time.

   The worst nail experience ever!! Went in to do my nails at 7pm did not walk out of the shop until closing at 9pm where she had to rush to finish I wanted a simple set of short French tip acrylics . The processes of shaping the acrylic took over 1 hour and 30 minutes. The lady kept misshaping and doing way too much powder making the nail thick and she would have to file down which lead to all being misshapen Tried to explain to her but she did not listen that I am unhappy and the polish has not even started. I understand the language barrier but I asked many workers to explain in which they all just said she understands Paid for a manicure and no nail care was also done. The worst nail experience and service to sit over 2 hours for a simple set and walk out with the worst set of nails I’ve ever gotten. Any nail person would be better than this shop and these workers. Worst experience!!!!

   A guy did my nails and this is the first time I’ve done my nails at their store. I wanted a bit long nails, ballerina shape and very light pink for the color to make look natural yk. Anyways I really love how it turned out. I will definitely do my nails here again for special occasions.

   Half of the nail had no acrylic applied to it, there are bubbles you can see through the nail and you can see my natural nail. They were so rough too, the lady I had was kind of nice though

   I paid for gel manicure. By the time I got home from mall, the gel had completely fallen off one nail. I didn’t even know gel could fall off! Over the following 2 days, it fell off 4 other nails, and half lifted off the other 5. They refused to redo or refund, even though it is law in NZ (consumer guarantee act) that they should.

   15/04/23 Went in with my daughter for Acrylic nails and a set of gel. I got the owners sister she was a really go chat had lots of laughs I was unsure of what colour I wanted or shape and style. She gave me advice on what would suit my fingers and skin tone and with that I walked out with a beautiful set. Too bad we from Nelson otherwise would be back in a heart beat. Would recommend her any day x

   Today I went there around 1pm. Horrible environment. Staffs were giggling and talking in their language. I don’t normally mind it. But it was extremely annoying as there was no professional way of running a business. The lady did my nails kept stopping and listening to other’s conversation. I asked for another staff as this lady was distracted. They were gossiping in their language and laughing at me. Told me that other staff wasn’t available. After 2.5 hours final result was shocking! I have wasted $70 and my time. I strongly recommend not to waste your money and time here

   Didn't think shellac was something you could mess up but apparently it is? I also wish they actually got rid of the dead skin on my feet.. I'm a bit worried about getting an infection. I didn't see any cleaning of tools between customers, there is no plastic lining in the sinks, no cleaning of the pedicure foot sinks that happens in between customers. Any other reviews with this nail salon, and others in this mall mentioning employees talking in other languages, grow up and get out of your basement more. You're the ignorant ones. It's not worth mentioning that in any review.
