    What a wonderful experience. I have bought several different vehicle brands from Giltraps over the years and have always experienced excellent customer service. My recent purchase of a used Skoda from the the Grey Lynn branch exceeded this already impressive record. Saurabh Singh responded with a phone call to my online request, and was so helpful from the get-go. he is extremely personable and was responsive to all my needs and my timetable. He looked after our needs when looking, buying, collecting and after-sales. His Sales Manager, Paul Ah Kuoi, just added to the overall experience with quick and fair sales decisions - no pressure, no BS. The car was for [mainly] for my wife and when we collected the car she was treated like royalty. I can't recommend this dealership and these guys enough. #trustworthy #customer-focused #friendly.     My customer service experience with Waqas Rahat was excellent. When I hurriedly arrived at the service center on a Friday afternoon with my children and explained the vehicle's condition, I initially expected it to arrive next week at the earliest. However, considering my child's school and after-school club schedules, he immediately resolved my vehicle issue and processed the WOF. This was probably the fastest service I've ever experienced. Every employee at the service center was incredibly friendly. I believe Skoda's service quality was the key factor in my decision.

    Just not the level of experience and communication I expected when investing in a new car. Initially made to wait while the salesperson we had communicated with via the website with was dealing with someone else (we had simply emailed asking after a car, and had no relationship with him, anyone could have helped us). At one point left standing on the footpath outside, waiting for 'the' salesperson. I asked after the car we had enquired about (to someone else), and had said in our email we were coming to look at. "Oh, we have lent that out to someone having their car serviced today". But we had said we were coming to look at it today?. We are offered a seat while they sorted another car of the same model for us to test drive. We drove the car and liked it (We like Skoda's, we already have one, this would a second car). We had come to look at a demo vehicle. So now we start to get sold the new vehicle we just test drove. Simply to say we came to an agreement, and went ahead with the purchase. We asked for the windows to be tinted. Yes, your car will be ready in two weeks. This initially surprised me, two weeks and the car is already in the dealership. But paid the deposit and left. That same evening we reached out and enquired about changing out the wheels to black also. We got a response with a yes and they had black aftermarket wheels at the dealership for sale. It took a few days for images of the wheels to come through and a cost. We agreed and said yes, but please have the Skoda badge placed on the aftermarket wheels. Two weeks came and we had not heard anymore? I'm wondering if they wanted the balance paid? Nothing. I thought we were due to collect the car. No, the car was not ready as they had not secured tyres for the new wheels? I had to ask, if they wanted the balance paid for the purchase. On the eventual collection day, I asked if they could fit the black plates we had got for the car. "No" was the response. (These are not personalised plates, they are the same registration as the vehicle, just black versions). We ended up having to screw holes through the new black plates to align with the screw holes they had created on the car? The Skoda badge had not been organised for the wheel centres. The car was sent home with one key, as they had lost the second key. We waited four weeks for a second key to be ordered and programmed to the car. When the keys were eventually delivered to us the salesperson who sold us the car delivered them and said "here's your keys", and walked away. No, "Im sorry, this had not the experience we pride ourselves on" . We ended up organising the wheel centres ourselves.

    Total satisfaction in dealing with both sales and service staff. Not so happy with Skoda brand. Vehicle bought new mid February. So far two service faults and two key batteries replaced. Starting to think may have made wrong choice.
