Food: Mie Goren - a bit too salty, but it's acceptable. I would have given a 4 star for food, but what made me to give a one star is because there was a long as hair in my noodle. food hygiene is always the number one priority. And hair in food is disgusting. Service: friendly staff. Atmosphere: in a foodcourt setting so nothing too much to comment.
This place is efficient! Great service that is always friendly and super fast. Big thanks to the lady taking my order, she was kind even with a rush. Plus, the food is also really delicious! Totally recommend Uncle Man Eastridge!
For me Uncle Man’s in K’road is still the best. The satellite restaurants don’t seem to get the flavours as good as the mothership. Had the nasi lemak with the beef rendang add-on. The portion sizes were average and there weren’t many pieces of beef in the rendang. I thought the value for money was poor. That being said the up market food court experience is good for group catch ups as everyone can get whatever they want.
Ordered a wat dan hor and was very disappointed with my meal. Most of the noodles were vermicelli, with only a third being the flat hor fun. I asked the server if they usually use vermincelli and they said yes, and that if you wanted only hor fun, you need to ask for it. But the menu (and all other wat dan hor I've had) says "fried flat rice noodles." Please, if you make substitutions from the menu, let your customers know, I wouldn't have ordered it if I had known. The noodles themselves were white, broken and hard. The gravy was very watery with little egg, and tasted only like sesame oil. Disappointed because I've had other dishes from here in the past that have been good (mee goreng, nasi lemak). Teh Tarik was good.
One of my go-to Halal restaurants in Auckland. The Mie Goreng is good!
One of the best Malay-Indo food! Very delicious but I prefer Manukau store more. Soto Ayam is sooo good!
Average. The K Road branch is a lot better for food and service. The lady that took our orders acted like she didn't want to be there. I had a nasi lemak with beef rendang and it was okay. Nothing special. At the K Road branch everything usually taste amazing.
I can't believe this is total $52 The size of the food is so small especially Laksa. I think it's a little expensive compared to the amount of food.
Good for a quick bite after work. Some classic Malaysian fast food. Tasty and reasonably priced.
