Absolutely amazing service from Garry at The Travelshop in Botany Junction! He helped us plan a last-minute trip across three countries and made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. Worst Travel agents I've ever dealt with!! I tried to book a fare for my mum last month with these guys, the lady who served us over the phone first advised us a price of $2400 which sounded great but she informed us that unless booked right away, she can not guarantee that the price will stay. We called back in 10 mins and the next best price offered to us was $2500. We took that offer right away, deposited all the money into their bank account and were waiting for the final confirmation itinerary! 30 mins later we called them to check if everything was okay, thats when we were advised that they can't offer us that price anymore and we have to transfer them extra money (I think it was about extra $100)! I had never dealt with anyone from a travel company who was this confused! This all happened over the weekend and I had to wait 2 days to get my money back and I wasn't able to book anywhere else because of this! I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to these guys!
I have been dealing with travel shop for number of years and never had any problem. I normally deal with Tony and always got very good service and deals. He seem to be little bit busy man but generally comes back to you within a reasonable time period. He is good, worth a try....
NEVER EVER GO TO THIS TRAVEL AGENCY. ONE OF THE WORST TRAVEL AGENCY EVER.. THE LADY OVER THERE IS SPINELESS AND WORTHLESS. WONT EVEN ALLOW PROSPECTING CUSTOMERS TO CHECK PRICES. WE SAID WE GOT A LOWER PRICE ONLINE AND SHE DECIDED TO BE RUDE TO US AND TOLD US TO GET OUT. NEVER EVER MET A TRAVEL AGENT WHO TALK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT. YOUR THE ONE WHOS INSULTING. THIS PLACE IS DODGY. BUYER BEWARE. THANK GOD WE DID NOT BUY FROM HER.
The worst experience by far. Apart from Tony, Please do not try to call anyone else. The person who I dealt with couldn't quote me on a correct price. After spending 40 mins on the phone, and wasting my time, harassed me over the phone and apparently i am a liar of the first order. Please save your patience and time and do not contact this agency. I have never come across anyone who can treat you with such disrespect and harassment. I am shocked to hear an employee works in New Zealand with such disrespect to costumers.
