   I stayed there last night, was made welcome by the staff, and settled into my room. Had an absolutely brilliant Lamb Shank meal ,a great yarn to the locals in the bar,the room was very neat ,tidy and clean. Could not fault it in any way.

   Suited our lot just fine. Was a good experience for our students to be able to come in from out of town. I could hear walking and noise from the level above but it worked out great as I could hear who was trying to sneak around. The place is a bit older but the food was great and staff are lovely. I do like the location as it is out of the city.

   We had our 40th birthday at the inn and it was the most amazing venue we could have asked for. Lots of guests stayed at the motel which you couldn't top in terms of convenience. From the first point of contact we felt welcome and we're well looked after. Staff were amazing, Platters were outsianding and the venue was clean and tidy

   Couldn’t book online so I sent an email to the email address on the website, and never received a reply. So I called them and the guy that answered said he would send me an email addrss to send my booking enquiry to. He did send me a text with the email address (the same one I had previously emailed enquires too)that I sent my booking enquiry too, and he never replied. So I rung again over the next few days just to be told each time he had read my email about the bookings but he was out running errands and he would reply to my email when he got back later on, which he never did. I then stopped in and no one was around except the cleaners, so I rung again while I was there and was told he was out running errands and he would get back to me but again, never did. Really frustrating as I was trying to book 5 rooms for an upcoming wedding and was even wanting to possibly book their function room for the wedding reception if it suited. So this place lost a lot of business because all guests that were going to be staying in the 5 rooms would’ve used their bar and restaurant while they were there too.

   Tryed to book on line and by phone no luck not good we had to drive here to book accommodations we had a wedding to attend up the road we live in Auckland if you had to come from out of town don't know how you would get on

   Was they worst experience I've ever had...i arrived late.. given a key to an already used room. Which the cleaning crew obviously hadn't got to today.. disgusting! Then given a downstairs room where all I could hear was people in the rooms above walking around from 4.45am.... until I just gave up and left at 6.30am. Rooms are in desperate need of cleaning and updating. Example...my new room didn't even have curtains...obviously an optional extra I didn't pay for....I have sooo much to say... but ill just say....NEVER going back!

   Needs a good clean and a bit of a spruce up. Everything looked old and tired. Didn't want to put my clothes or bags anywhere as there was no one clean to put them. Bathroom floor was sticky and toilet sliding door needed repair. Little things could have improved it like a shelf in the shower or clean surfaces.... Even the bed didn't appear to be made. Lucky it was only one night.
