   A friend David sent your owner who owns surf n snow a message about the manager of the hostels bad behaviour and arrogance . David mentioned he had a friend who stayed there & got bed bugs ,when he complained he was kicked out for no reason. David warned you that you would be in the news in less than three months but instead you blocked David, well congrats you made the news front page this morning for bed bugs and being forced to clean...you had to be forced!!! This is disgusting and shows neglect . Muhammad the manager has kicked several people out for simply voicing concerns.

   The sashimi-don (if you like raw fish), and aburi-salmon (seared salmon) are delicious! I also recommend the chicken cutlet and tempura. Yummy!

   One of few authentic Japanese owned and operated restaurants in Auckland. If you’re expecting large portions that’s not really what the Japanese dining experience is about. You should go get a steak at the Lone Star instead. The restaurant is small but intimate with a great menu. A perfect place to dine with a group of foodies.

   The Sizzling beef meal was undersized. Not really a main quantity or fair value for money. For $25 your better getting a thai main and be full. First time to try Ren but better serving sizes elsewhere.

   Excellent food, friendly staff and quick service. One of the best Japanese restaurants I've been to in Auckland. Highly recommended! Only caveat is that it's quite a small venue, so if it can get a little loud. Not an issue for us though!
