Had a great experience and haircut, extremely nice and friendly stylists. I got a wolfcut with layers and Donna was so helpful in suggestions and understood exactly what i wanted, the sylists were also really easy to talk to and it was a all around enjoyable experience.
5 star service from when we booked to when we left from all staff were amazing. 2 friends &I made appts. I had wash, head massage, cut &styling. My stylist was great & I love my hair now. It's so much healthier & has body. My stylist gave great recommendations as i had a general idea of what I was after. I would visit again next time I'm in Auckland. Thank you all so much for our experience.
I had my shampoo and haircut done today by Tom. I could see his confidence as soon as he started the haircut. It was very carefully and skillfully done, and he shared a lot of helpful tips. I’m happy with the outcome and glad to have found a hairstylist I can go to regularly. I will 100% recommend Tom from Just Cuts. The service was very customer-focused overall.
I have had the most horrible hair cut experience in my life. The hair dresser was so rough, brushing my ears off. You should have seen how she dried my hair- her hand (without a brush) was going in circular motions all over my head (I’ve got long hair), so you can imagine what it looked like after. Anyways, she let me go with soaking wet hair and quickly moved on to another client. Thank you, never again. Highly not recommended. PS the hair cut itself was ok
My 5yr old had a very poor haircut. Everyone asked if I cut his hair at home. Staff was friendly but lacked skill , I can say. After finishing, I am sure she could see we were not happy with the cut and that it looked so bad, she didn't do anything nor looked willing to correct it. We feared further damage to his look so just let it be.
I want to share my experience today at this place with one of the staff who lacks professionalism and manners. First of all, this lady who cut my hair gave me really bad expressions throughout cutting my hair, Which made me felt like may Be I m in the wrong place or may be this lady hates her job that’s why she is making this faces while cutting customers hair. Secondly, I don’t know what was going in her mind, that she made my hair so wet by keep spraying water on my hair and sprayed so much water on my face,,, as well ,, ,, even I informed her that my face is getting really wet,, ,, she gave me a tissue and keep spraying water on my hair,,and face And after Finishing the hair cut , she asked me oh do you want me to dry your hair,, I said yes I can’t go out with wet hair,, She said okay but you will be charged extra $15 for drying hair., Which does not make sense to me. I mean which barber soaked customers hair with water while cutting and then charge them extra to dry them.
I have been going to this just cuts since it was open. They were so good but seems they have only bad staff left. There is a Japanese guy who is the best ever but the rest are rude and do not cut properly. Tui is the worst. She takes for ages because she talks so much but the hair cuts are bad. She never listens and is so lazy. She tries to convince the customers that they do not need a hair cut because their hair is fine so that she can get away on time. Especially on late nights. She was extremely rude to me lat night. Once she had my fringe. I went back to get it right but I had not complained. You know sometimes you wash your hair and it does not look right so I went back to get it corrected . It says that on their receipt. That is a service we customers are entitled to. Anyway when I went back yesterday afterwaiting for 45 minutes. She told me oh you complained about lol. To be honest I didn't even recall that. I has checkin in from the car. my app said wait is 10 ro 15 mins so I went in and she said no no the wait is 35 mins and I have two more customers. Think she remembered me and pushed me back in the queue. Again I work in the city. waited 46 mins for her to tell me I do not need a hair cut. She does not deserve a 1 star. I feel sorry for just cuts who has employees like her who dont care about long standing customers. I used to go regularly. I asked her to shape my fringe to curtain and she said she could not cut it. She refused to cut my hair so when I said it seems you just dont want to cut my hair and she said think what you think and left me started to serve another customer. I walked out and went to sharing shed who cut my curtain bangs nicely. Also the lady at curtain bangs advised me that my hair was spoilt by the Asian lady at just cuts who had razored my hair unevenly at the back. last time I we t this Asian lady is nice but does not have good English. I showed her pictures but she spoiled my hair. But Tui does not deserve a job at all. She is arrogant lazy and takes for ages. they are down two people on late nights and I have waited 2 hrs and never complained. I was told that most of their good hairdressers left. I think I was stupid to go back. just walk a bit further a d go the sgaring shed. you don't have to wait and they are friendly and cheaper I urge you everyone if you get Tui and the Asian lady with glasses .Run for your life. In fact do bot visit them. their wait times are not worth it and they don't care or apologize. Trust me.
My 12 yr old son and I both booked for a haircut. There were two stylists on duty ( a male and a female). I asked if we can order it so my son went with the guy, explaining that he had had a great haircut from him on the past and we’ve specifically seen he was on duty. Despite there being no customers in a queue the woman (Tui), flatly refused announcing that they don’t cater for requests. Everyone want to go to him. I explained I was fine having her cut my hair whenever she became available we would just alter our order to suit. At that point she unleashed a huge “power trip” refusing to serve us at all as we didn’t “obey her”. She threatened to call security. My son was in tears, and customers having their hair cut tried to intervene. Not at all customer service or even a basic level of decency.
