   It’s been about 8 weeks since getting my hair cut here, I am only posting this now because I went to get my washed and straightened at Kess in Pakuranga today, and the lady asked “who cut your hair” I asked why.. her reply “it’s really badly done” I wasn’t going to bother posting this review because I have been going to Lin Hair for a few years (It’s always hit and miss) The last visit though was the last straw.. I showed him a picture of the hair cut I was after.. I wanted a short sleek cut with a sharp finish… but I got a crocked mess with my ends flicked in.. When I let him know one side was clearly longer than the other. He said that’s what it looks like in the picture.. in the picture the womens head is tilted slightly.. Obviously it’s due to this not the cut… a little common sense wouldn’t go astray… so even though I have had ok cuts in the past.. this was my last visit.

   If you have scissors to cut hair use them. I felt ripped off came out looking like what l went in with. It was a trim at the bottom. His prices are ridiculous now. Hence why l shop around will no longer go to him. He should have specific pricing. Men/woman’s short or long is different $50 above. He will use the straightener when you haven’t asked. I could have cut my own hair. Really disappointed you have gone to this route. I’d prefer Mark when he owned it, he would ensure you did your work properly.

   You can't beat their price anywhere. My daughter and I got our wash, blow dry and straighten for $120. That's just for one person elsewhere. It's just a wife and husband there but that's my go to hairdresser. Love it! They're never packed but highly recommend them. I'll always be back for as long as they're around.

   Very disappointed. $70 for a straight haircut which razor was used. No information that he will charge for ironing my hair which I did not ask. By far the most expensive haircut ever. Not worth it.

   Left in absolute disgust when I was charged $50 for my toddler's haircut! Did not disclose the price when accepting us as a walk in. When challenged on the price he argued my daughter's hair was 'long', which didn't make any sense as it was already fairly short prior to the cut. The price charged even exceeded the starting 'womens cut' price of $45 advertised on the door. I'm happy to pay for a great service but this was far anything exceptional, especially when it was a 5 min trim in between other client jobs at the time. Would NOT recommend this business to anyone in the area.

   I booked for a wash and blowdry as I had a wedding. I wanted a place close to home so I did my research and found this place. The guy who did my hair did an amazing job! He was polite and made sure my curls were going to last for the whole day...it's day 2 and my hair is still wavy! FYI price was $80. Thank you so much, I will be back!
