Always receive the best service at Synergy Manukau. I’ve been getting my hair done here for the last 2 years and have never been disappointed. Jason, Alexis and Liz are all very welcoming and professional. I have gotten my hair coloured as well as regularly washed and straightened each week without any issues.
I would like to attach this photo as my mum gotten the worst service from a hair stylist. Mum wanted her hair to be straight and to have a curved finish in the end for that bouncy look. In return the photos below is what they did. After talking to mum they only refunded her $15-20 When I called up and spoke to the owner he was so money minded that he couldn’t even accept his hair stylist mistake. I advised him how mum had wasted fuel and didn’t get what she expected and that she has to go home wash hair again and style it herself. He told me “apparently “ my mum asked for half her money and that that is what she wanted and didn’t have time to wait. I called my mum to double check if that’s what she said mum stated no! In fact when mum told that hair stylist to do a bit of bouncy curve on the bottom part of her hair once she did that it looks like a dent on mums hair. So the owner firstly lied and now doesn’t want to give refund whole money back because “ mum said refund half”.. that is bs why would my mum want half money when she didn’t get what she wanted.. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Please look at your receipts to see what this owner is actually charging you for. He also doesn’t want to refund the whole money even tho his hair stylist made the mistake
Walking into Synergy @ Westfield Manukau is like going home or to a friends place. The staff there (Jason, Lis & Alexis) are literally the only people I let touch my hair. They will let you experiment but if it gets to a point where the colour won't work or it won't suit etc, the stylists will tell you. Approximately 9 years ago I went into every salon in Manukau Mall asking for my dark brown hair to be blonde. One salon wanted to charge me around $600 for blonde highlights because Blonde Hair would be "too hard to maintain". Another one had pricing out the door but Synergy was the friendliest, cheapest and actually listened to what I wanted and were happy to do it...even making sure I had all the right products to take home...and I have never been anywhere else since. From copper to blonde to black to blonde to pink for Breast Cancer Month to Copper again...My hair has been through it over the years and is still healthy and soft and well maintained. The team at Synergy Manukau literally feels like family. Thank you awesome people!
Manukau synergy you were perfect !! Lovely service 10000percent recommend!! I felt so comfortable I hadn’t been to a salon in years and have highly damaged hair also recently fire burnt hair and yet they didn’t try to coarse me into anything she just listened gave the best advice made me feel comfortable and most of all put a lot of effort into the entire service even got a free consultation with attention u usually have to pay for LOVE IT going back next week
Many thanks to Monica and team for the amazing service my 7 year old daughter received today. Even with the special request of shaving one side, there were no issues. After Rodney Wayne Barber discriminated against my child for being a girl and refused her, we left feeling a bit disheartened. So thank you again for giving us a great ending to our day and enabling the creativity and growth of young girls to become confident women ❤

Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing, and here’s why; 1. colour was wrong & unapologetic by the hairdresser for “mistake” 2. price was too high!! 3. cut was unchecked by hairdresser 4. cut was uneven and not what I asked for, looks hacked at!!!! 5. the 3-4 hour appointment I wasn’t even get offered a glass of water 6. hairdresser was inconsistent & appeared uninterested to follow up with correction when the colour went wrong 7. Hairdresser left a trainee to finish & she didn’t even check in on trainee at the end 8. Hairdresser appeared remotely UNinterested to thank me for the service provided to her salon. 9. hairdresser inconsistent consultation, didn’t use a colour book or understand customer request Come on Auckland, for the high price charged, ensure QUALITY salon skills & add some customer service skills. Salon receptionist was kind! Rescue hairdresser tried! #Synergy thanks but NO THANKS
