   “I ordered the chicken nibbles and fries, and honestly the quality was really disappointing. The chicken nibbles didn’t taste fresh at all, and the fries had a strange flavour it’s almost like they were cooked in old oil that had been used for something sweet, like pancakes. The smell and taste were really off, and we couldn’t even finish our food. Unfortunately it felt like a waste of money. Really hoping the shop improves the freshness and the oil they use for frying.”

   bought 4 hamburgers, 1 steak, 1 scoop kumara chips and 2 scoop of chips. Get home the steak burgers a paddy and egg burger, theres no kumara chips so ring up aw sorry we dont do kumara chips but we can do yu steak burger. Go all the way back to get steak burger and drop other burger off, get home, buns are soggy, steak not cooked properly, too much tomato, mayo and sauce not enough lettuce... NEVER AGAIN

   The shop itself says nothing about how good the food is here, i happend upon this place out of wanting a good feed chicken nibbles and chips and as all my regular places were shut this particular day so we went to clendon park fish and chips and found the best hot chips since my childhood takeaways, Larry's, in kawerau. They double cook the fries to perfection, i must say I've only tasted a few of their items but this is now the only fish and chip shop ill ever go to, i dont even go to the other takeways i use to anymore.

   Recommended to me by a local. Freshly fried fish and chips, absolutely amazing. Price is also fair for the large portion size. Though I wish the staff were knowledgeable about what the slushie flavours were instead of just "red, blue and purple". Drink size is very small too. Also no cutlery is given so had to bring it home to eat.
