   Tbh I'm kinda suprised with the low rating?!?. Maybe the owners have changed since those posts because I'll tell ya what, this is hands down top 3 fish n chips I've had in Auckland. Better than the famous one out west. Chips are great,batter is beautiful, me and my work mates come here all the time now. Definitely don't listen to these ratings, they're not up to date with the new food.

   I have been using this shop mainly for their buffet type plats and Chinese takeaways for years and always had good food and service. Yesterday I ordered some mussels and chips along with a mussel and corn fritter. I don't know what oil or batter they use but i cannot remember eating better chips. The mussels were right up there with the best I have tasted due to the oil and the batter too.

   Stopped in to get $5 chips, more like $2 worth but it was the quality that shocked me. Over-cooked & the oil in the vat needs changing! Tasted like burnt wontons, greasy & yuk

   Local Chinese takeaway. Lots of signage can't miss it. Nestle between the shops in this corner of a busy street between onehunga and Penrose. From your favourite Chinese dish to the normal takeaway of chicken nibbles.

   The burger was awesome but the chips and fritter look and taste disgusting. I thought maybe it was just because new years and Christmas finished, but it's almost 4 weeks since then and no their chips are still gross looking and taste yuck.
